Heather is a friendly face and there is a guy that works the Palenville site as well who is also great. A Wonderful Experience at Black Raven Kitchen…read more I stopped at Black Raven Kitchen at the Walkway Over the Hudson entrance in Poughkeepsie while deciding whether or not to walk across the walkway in the heat. I ordered a drink and something to eat, and from the moment I met owners Daryl and Shannon, I was so impressed by how genuinely kind, sincere, and friendly they were. The food was heated perfectly and absolutely delicious, and the drinks were excellent. But what really stood out was the way they cared for me when I started feeling overheated after leaving the stand. Daryl and Shannon immediately came to help, stayed right by my side, and brought me ice packs and water until I felt better. Their kindness and concern went far beyond what anyone could expect from a quick stop for food and drinks. They truly made a difference for me that day. Black Raven Kitchen has wonderful food and drinks, but it's the people behind it who make it special. Daryl and Shannon are two amazing people who clearly care about their customers.
