Finally, I reached a live person and explained the situation. She was rude and hung up on me. I immediately called back and asked to speak to someone in authority. They were, suspiciously, "all in a meeting". That was when I decided to cut the head off the snake's body and cancelled that cc. No more monthly charges at 26% interest. I had purchased a 10 year old Prius. Within 3 months of the purchase, I was informed that every battery in the car needed to be replaced in order for the car to be able to be driven. Caveat emptor - buyer beware.

I have known about Star Import for a while now, and have used them before for some A/C work…read more This time around, my A/C was definitely out, a year after it had been serviced for the A/C coolant escaping. When I had that service a year ago, we had placed a tracer dye in the system so that we could (hopefully) figure out where the leak actually came from. This time around, we found it, or at least we think it has been found. Turned out to be a couple of seals that had probably gone bad, so they were serviced when I brought the car in. It took them about three hours to perform the entire process, from diagnosis to completion of service. The shop is a Mercedes specialist, and they know the cars well. The prices are right, and the customer service is good. So long as I own a Mercedes, this will be the place it goes to for work.

I also asked to have my cigarette lighter checked, and it was the fuse. I had taken my car in to the dealer and for each item checked they charge $206. for each diagnostic, but if you decide to have it repaired; the diagnostic fee is not applied to the repair charge. Thought perhaps it needed a condenser and evaporator, but was blowing cold...just not really blowing at all. Figured out all that was needed was the fan & motor (all one piece). Eric ordered that from the local dealership, sent back the other parts (Which for once, I didn't have to pay for!) and just installed it today within 5-10 minutes and it all cost less than $400, labor and parts, three visits and everything all buttoned up. Amazing! He was even willing to come to ME to install it. Couldn't ask for a kinder, more honest mechanic anywhere. You people that are going elsewhere are NUTS! He even came in last Sunday to work on it simply because it was my only day off! NOBODY does that! I'll be going back for everything from now on. One day when picking up the 750 I mentioned the issues with the 740, he suggested I bring it in. I was embarrassed because of the mold and mildew that had accumulated over the entire interior of the car. It was terrible like something from a horror movie. An enormous task and after having to dismantle the sunroof, surrounding mold and trim he found where the leak was coming from. Delivering exceptional customer service, he sent me a video of the leak and explained the process to fix it. I want to insert the video, but I don't know how When I picked my car up it did not look the same. He had it detailed inside and out, the mold and mildew was completely gone.
