I was told I needed a wheel alignment and agreed to have that done since there was one car on the rack and I was next. Four hours later the car was ready. As I was getting in the car, I saw a greasy hand print on the light colored fabric on the drivers seat. My radio station had been switched and no more than a block away my check engine light came on. I returned to Grease Monkey where I stayed for another hour as they tried to figure out what happened. After over an hour and no one making eye contact, a tech came out to tell me all of the screws in my air box were stripped and a new one would be ordered. They said they would order a new one and call me. I called the store mid week and asked if it was ordered and they said no. Was going to get ordered, I asked. We're talking about it was the reply. So, after five hours in their waiting room, over $250 spent, I have a car with a check engine light on, stained upholstery and a ruined airbox and the 4th of July weekend coming up. Things happen, but the lack of respect Grease Monkey has shown me as a customer and my car is unacceptable and disappointing.

Unfortunately on our way home about 200 miles out we had same issues. We called Kabrina and she called a shop ahead of us in Boise who got us in and found the new sensor faulty. SCR wouldn't have known this without driving the car 100+ miles. They covered the cost and we were on our way again and finished our trip no issues. If ever in Twin Falls Idaho and are looking for A+ service Sage Creek Repair is the place. And shout out to Dale's Auto Care in Boise for fast and friendly service.

I was very pleased with their thorough inspection and honest recommendations about things that they thought needed to be done. They didn't encourage anything that they didn't feel was necessary. I don't know for sure whether their prices are reasonable for this area or not because I haven't had a lot of other services done here before, but I felt like they were honest and were super friendly to work with. I also really appreciated that they also provide courtesy rides home and back to their shop. It was so nice to visit with April and Kabrina!

More 1 Ross' Diesel & Auto Repair (Owner) 12 hours ago Well Gerald, sounds like we are not the shop for you. Short-staffed, and more work than we can handle, which leaves minimal time for price shopping. Plenty of other shops in this town to choose from. Would you like a recommendation? And this was the cocky's owner's response.

Extremely disappointed with both the quality of work, reliability, and communication from this…read moreshop. Truck was in for a no start diagnostic. When asking some basic questions about the diagnostic work that had been done, I was told by the mechanic himself working on my truck that he was "not that familiar with Diesel trucks." Took me multiple phone calls over multiple days to get a solid answer on what they had done to diagnose my truck. After I was quoted an astronomical amount to do a simple job, I paid for the diag service and I decided to have the vehicle towed away from Ross Diesel. I asked to have the truck locked while outside because it was going to take a couple days (over a weekend) for me to get to it. When I arrived to tow the vehicle, the truck was indeed left unlocked with thousands of dollars of tools inside. They were not thorough while putting my truck back together after disassembly. My fuel bowl was left partially unscrewed, air filter hose was slid onto the turbo but they forgot to tighten it, was just slid onto it. Air filter alone could have cost thousands of dollars in repairs if it had not been caught. I spoke with Ross personally. I understand mistakes happen, and I wanted to attempt to let him know the poor experience I had. If it were my name on the shop I would want to know so I could improve. After being told that I would have had to pay for them to reassemble (an air filter and fuel filter lid?) I was told by him that my truck being in the shop wasted their time, (likely because I elected to not pay the high price tag for a simple repair) and that if I didn't "trust their work, don't come back", and then was hung up on. I would highly recommend taking your vehicles to a shop who can communicate better and do a thorough job.
