I never heard back from him. I called and left 3 voicemails, and nobody returned my calls. I had my business associate contact him, and Jacob told him that it "just wasn't his cup of tea". He didn't even have the common decency to call me back and tell me that he didn't want the work. This is very improper business practice and is very unprofessional.

Before tree delivery I asked what kind of warranty there would be given as it was a transplant. Jason said "as long as I don't come out and find it bone dry there would be a warranty." The tree has not survived and they are now unwilling to honor their word and make it right. On top of that, 3 yards of conditioned garden soil was to be delivered. Instead we received practically mulch with trash in it. The delivery truck also drove in our grass and left a 15 foot trail of diesel in our grass and all the way down the road. The grass died and had to be replaced. Stay away! Very very dishonest company.

They have a good selection of supplies from mulch to gravel and other specialty types of rock. They sell everything by the skid steer scoop. A typical scoop will half fill a short bed full size truck. It helps that they are one of the few that are open on Saturdays which is very convenient if you work on weekdays.

He said he would pick up the check and come back around 4. I told him he can pick up the check when he completes the work. He gave me a sad story about needing the money up front because he was negative in his account...being the kind hearted person that I am I allowed him to get the check. He came out and did half the work last Friday and said he would be out Saturday to finish. He text me on Saturday that he would be out at 4, he then text me that he was running late, he then text me that he was in an accident. I text him when will you be back out to finish and he said Monday (today) at 8am. BIG SURPRISE, he is a no show as of this moment. He has not returned any of my texts. Over the weekend we exchanged some heated texts because you don't just take someone's money and not provide the work. He said that we didn't have a contract for this work. I'm like, well you sure were quick to take my $300 check and cashed it within 30 minutes of picking it up and I gave him a detailed note as to what was expected. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL if you ask me and to have the nerve to just disappear with no explanation is unforgivable. I am going to post this everywhere I possibly can. You are the lowest of the low when you take advantage of someone's kindness and that does not just go away. I hope your conscience kills you but I have a strong feeling he's the type of person who uses people and rolls right along without any trouble. He had the nerve to get made at me for posting negative reviews on his business facebook page. He sent me a text that he would come out and finish the job if I took down the negative review. I told him I'd consider it once he finishes the job for which he was paid in full....He eventually shutdown his page Shame on you Dustin Smith.
