I had about 100 trees cut last year and the logs were stacked all along my front yard. I searched…read morefor several months to find a portable sawmill operator to cut the logs to dimensional lumber, but could not find a reliable crew (someone who would return calls or actually come on site to give me an estimate). Finally in late September I found Abba and Sons. Gene and his crew were extremely responsive and came out to my property to give me an estimate, which I thought was very fair. To stay on budget, we agreed to have his crew cut as much lumber as they could over 4 weeks. Over that time they were able to create two stickered stacks of hardwoods, mainly hickory, maple and oak and one with softwoods, mostly poplar and pine. We got dozens of 6x6 and 4x4 posts 12-15 feet long, as well as tons of 2 1/4 inch slabs for future flooring projects. There were also dozens of character slabs which I'll dry and figure out how to use - perhaps some nice tables and benches. Gene and his crew work very hard and do not cut corners. They made sure everything went smoothly with minimal disruption to my property. If you have some logs on your property that might be useful as lumber, please give Abba and Sons a call. You will not regret it!

My lawn has struggled for the past 2 or 3 years with sluggish/no growth and a bumper crop of weeds…read more I went through a couple lawn chemical companies with each promising they could fix the problem. Didn't happen. My lawn got worse year after year. This year I signed up with Zach Orton at TurfMark and WOW! What a huge difference it has made. My yard is thick and green and just getting better and better. I couldn't be happier. If you are suffering through the same poor performance I highly recommend TurfMark Outdoor Solutions in Flowery Branch.

Since they took over, the yard looks amazing and the weeds/fungus issues previously experienced are no longer a concern. The prices went up a bit this year, but hasn't everything? Give them a try!

He came over within 30 minutes to give me an estimate, and drop the tree the next day. His quote was half of what the other companies quoted me. He had a four person team and took the tea tree down quickly and left no mess behind at all. He even shredded some large limbs. I took down myself the prior day from some other trees on my property. It was a very professional team and very friendly. His communications were excellent. I deeply regret hiring RLB Landscaping. Over the course of several projects totaling close to…read more$200,000, I experienced poor follow-through, disappointing workmanship, and an alarming lack of accountability. Robbie and his team were responsive during projects, but once the final payment was made, all communication stopped. Initially, they had to replace several plants and lighting that failed shortly after installation--none of which were due to any fault of mine. Most recently, I spent over $9,000 on new sod and sprinkler work in the front yard. Within weeks, the sod died. We raised concerns immediately, including photographic proof and a suspicion that the sprinklers were overwatering the area. Despite numerous messages from both myself and my wife, we received no response. Eventually, after escalating the issue, I was told by their office manager, Carrie, that they were not responsible because they don't offer maintenance. This critical detail was never disclosed during our many conversations. Worse, when I inquired about maintenance during the project, my requests for quotes were ignored entirely. Carrie was also incredibly disrespectful in our interactions--at one point implying I wasn't as smart as her because I didn't handle the situation the way she would have. Following these conversations, we received an email abruptly terminating us as customers. This is unacceptable treatment for any customer, let alone one who has spent hundreds of thousands of dollars. To top it off, I now have other dead plants and hydrangeas that were never addressed due to their delayed and dismissive responses. I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, where I've already found similar complaints--suggesting this is a pattern in how RLB does business. Sadly, some friends I referred to RLB have now canceled their upcoming projects after seeing how we were treated. Please, do your homework before hiring this company. There are plenty of other landscapers in the area who won't treat loyal customers like they're disposable. I only wish I had seen the red flags sooner.

Incredibly saddened and disappointed by our experience today at Full Bloom. A group of us have…read morebeen going there for YEARS. We loved the selection of plants and often spent quite a bit of money there. But...That will never happen again. Today we drove quite a ways just to make our annual trip to Full Bloom. Prior to leaving, we checked their website for hours and policies. Of specific interest was the pet policy as a member of our group has a registered service dog. Full Bloom's website states that they allow service animals who have proper documentation. (See below) When we arrived at the nursery, we were greeted by one of the owners who told us no pets were allowed. Our service dog was wearing a harness with "service dog" on it and we had documentation. The owner told us that didn't matter and no matter what we said or offered, he refused to allow us in. When we told him about his pet policy on his website, he said, "Well...I guess we'll have to fix that." So much for what the ADA says! Will never go back. If you have a service dog, beware....
