Instead of sending a new invoice and working with me to correct the problem, he threatened to place a lien on my house! Note that Mr. Handyman subscribes to the Neighborly Done Right Promise. This says they promise to return and do the work right at no additional cost. He never did so, even though I paid in full. The final cost was $918.56, whereas my insurance company estimated the work at $498.30. I have filed a complaint with the Neighborly organization. See also my BBB review. Mr. Handyman of Waco, Temple and Killeen is rated C+ on the BBB site. DO NOT USE MR. HANDYMAN OF WACO!

On top of all of that, I called Mama Bear about 10 minutes after they left and told them all of this (except for the trash situation which I didn't find until later) and the woman on the phone assured me she would have a manager call me to process a refund, which never happened.
