I was pleasantly surprised at the selection of products and brands at this store. The attendant was most helpful.

Shocked at how terribly I was treated by the manager yesterday…read more I came in with my baby after we got power back from the Snowpacolypse wanting to surprise my husband with some nice whiskey. I had my thick sweater over my nose as a mask and the manager, an older/middle aged woman with dark hair comes up to me and my baby and asks rudely where my mask was as if I were a child who needed scolding. I was wearing a mask it was just attached to my shirt. It fully covered my face/nose and covered much more than a paper mask would have covered anyway. I told her I had one on and she said, in a disgusted tone, that was unacceptable. Then she rushes over to the girl at the cash register to talk about me and didn't realize I was walking up behind her. she couldn't even wait until I left! I confronted her and told her this was a mask and you probably shouldn't be talking about your customers at least while they are still in the store, before she rudely yelled that I needed a daintier mask. The girl at the cash register even laughed at her a little bit bc she realized how stupid she sounded. I can't believe this manager/owner lady thinks it's ok to treat anyone, much less a paying customer like that. Disgusting. Will not be shopping here again.

However, the website said they did? So we decided to come in and double check... My husband asked the young man at the counter (near the entrance) about the item and before he could finish, the girl standing next to him rudely interrupts and says, "I already told you on the phone we don't have that!" We quickly picked up a few bottles of wine and now we're at the checkout and another rude girl just starts ringing everything up without even looking at us. She's like a robot and says absolutely nothing...no greeting, no happy holidays, not even a thank you when we leave...nothing. Just a frown. I dunno who trains these dummies, obviously noone or maybe another dummy. But I plan to take my business elsewhere and so should you, somewhere where I am treated with some kindness and respect. Have you ever been to Chick-fil-A? You will get better treatment at a drive-thru than this place. No need to put up with some grouchy, rude, unfriendly, rotten angry girls who are clearly in the wrong line of work! Put these dummies in the back stockroom and keep them away from customers! I get better treatment at a Texas gas station, in the middle of nowhere... called Buc-ee's! Benchmark them in customer service.

I found a very pleasant surprise at this Specs you may be interested in knowing*! First off since…read moreI rarely drink I can feel very lost in a liquor store. I visit a liquor store about twice a year and want to get all my alcohol in one trip. My purchases are for cooking, gifts and visitors. I always try to latch on to an employee to help me find what I need quickly. Upon entering the store I quickly noticed some leftover holiday gift sets with the particular alcoholic bottle and matching glasses. They were the same price as their bottle on the shelf but included cool looking matching gift glasses. I was first helped by a lady for a large bottle of Disaronno 1.75 L. They only had one large bottle and it was $50. I never recall paying such a high price for it. I asked the lady if it goes on sale and to my surprise she told me the prices fluctuate year round mostly around the holidays. I asked her when the best time of year was to stock up/purchase liquor and she told me in January. So y'all know now when to stock up at least for Spec's Liquor which is only in TX. After the lady dumped me to do something else I found a wonderful employee named Zack who helped me finish shopping. *Here's the good news. Zack was born and raised in Louisiana I found out when looking for the correct Abita beer to make some Red Eyed Gravy, Louisiana Barbecued Shrimp and other incredible Cajun meals he knew of an awesome cookbook with Cajun and some Creole recipes passed down from many generations basically the Crem Dela Crem of Cajun cooking. I'll share that with you in the cookbook called "Talk About Good Cookbook"! Available on Amazon and some retail stores. Zack was a wonderful employee taking me right to the liquor or non alcoholic mixers I needed. He was like a host in a 5 star Hotel. I give him 10 stars!!! The store is medium in size and had a few employees walking around to help the customers. The checkout lady was very sweet and packed my purchases very well. This Spec's is on the NW corner of Woodlands Pkwy and Kuykendahl closest to the street in a separate stand alone building kinda hiding amongst many tall trees. They have their own parking lot. Ask for Zack, he enjoys his job and won't dump you to fend for yourself.

That's right. Adding fried cheese to the menu is important to me. Because beer + fried cheese = happiness. It is known. Forgot what apps we DID enjoy, but they were good. Even if they weren't fried cheese. Love good stout and porter selection, and they have it! Love to see a bar that hasn't turned all of their craft taps to IPA. Good to have variety, folks. Especially in winter. It WOULD be amazing to have dark beers served just a *wee bit* closer to cellar temp... not true cellar (too much for Americans), but at least in the 40's F. Just be ready for crappy parking and you'll be good to go. It's worth the patience to find a parking spot if it's busy!

I never knew this shopping center even had a liquor store. This actually is good news because the liquor store in my main shopping center in The Village of Cochrans Crossing closed a while back. I asked the nice lady at Lou Lou Beignets if there was a liquor store by chance in this other Village I was in. She said yes. I was so happy because I had all nearby errands to do. So I walked into Dylan's and was nicely greeted by a friendly gentleman. I saw the overhead signs so I went down the appropriate aisle. I couldn't find the DiSaronno so I asked the friendly gentleman. He led me right to it. It was in a lovely designed bottle. I was impressed by how orderly and clean the store was. Also the gentleman working there was professional and kind. I got a good price so I was happy with my purchase. So now y'all know The Village of Alden Bridge has a liquor store and the Village of Cochrans Crossing peeps have a nearby liquor store also. Oh btw they have those little sample bottles to purchase and they rotate them with other ones. Plenty of parking Yelp Review # 409
