Dr. Mazzara is very intelligent but knows how to put things into simple terms. A down to earth person. We both feel blessed to know him. Never have I owed them a bill until now and it was my insurance companies fault! When this brought to my attention I asked that they send me a bill. Not only did I not get one until a month later but now they won't see me until it's paid. The clencher is that the office manager has spoken to the insurance company and they have confirmed what I said and that they will be send the balance of the money. The women who work at the front desk on the other hand are the PERFECT example of mean girls from high school with zero EQ turning to healthcare. They're very passive aggressive and rude. I felt so embarrassed and shamed leaving this office because of what I experienced with the front desk staff. I ended up making a complaint, and I will say, the regional manager did get back to me and investigated it. He called me directly to profusely apologize for his staff's behavior and said he'd handle it in more ways than one. I believe he did because when I went back, they were uncharacteristically nice to me and overly complimentary like they'd been reprimanded. That said, I don't feel comfortable going back to this particular location. Dr. Chowdhury in Old Bridge suggested I switch to the Iselin location because it's closer to me, but I'll be returning to him even if it's a bit of a trek. The staff there are much kinder.
