Don is amazing at what he does and he truly works with you in achieving what you want for your photos. He did our engagement photos recently and it went really smooth. He made it fun and we felt comfortable taking pictures with him because he made everything go with the flow and it felt very natural! We took pictures at Balboa park and he took us around to different spots so that he could maximize the area and beauty of Balboa Park. It was nice that he wanted us to have a big selection of photos with different background and styles. When we were taking pictures Don made us feel very relaxed. I loved that he made us feel at home and it was enjoyable! He taught us different poses and made it simple as possible. It was such a fun day! Don even makes bouquets for you as a prop during photo taking!! And they ARE BEAUTIFUL!! He seriously could be a florist too! LOL The week before our engagement photos he even called me to talk about attire and it was really nice of him to talk about what would be best to wear and he really wanted us to look perfect on that day and suggested many different outfits and even asked if he could see what we got planned to see if it would go well with the theme etc. it was really considerate of him to take the time to reach out to us and care about our wardrobe and how the pictures will look with certain attire. Don sent us a lot of engagement photos and they all turned out beautifully!! I was very impressed and I am excited to work with him on videography and photography for our wedding day. Don is a very dedicated photographer and videographer. I can already see that it is his passion. He is very busy and books up fast so be considerate of his responses! He truly does try to get back to me asap and I haven't had any problems with communication the last couple months working with him. He is always awesome on calling me and touching base with me and reviewing whatever needs to be reviewed. Thank you Don!

I posted to my social media for recommendations and when I looked at Heidi's website, I immediately knew it was her who I wanted and who would be able to create photos that were up to par with the west coast's creativity! I was very adamant about having photos that were outside of the box and not just someone standing against a tree with my arms folded (we've all seen this!). Heidi's work is effortless. She not only is extremely talented (I told her what I wanted and she created INSANELY good photos and added tons of amazing creative shots I never would've thought of)- but she is also a blast! She provides awesome direction and is a ton of fun, making sure you feel comfortable to ensure getting those candid moments! I could not have been more happy with the work Heidi did and will definitely be calling her for more. Everyone at my California company was beyond impressed and they, along with my friends and family, thought I went to California to get the photos done- now that's a compliment!! She also got my photos to me THAT day (sneak peek!), and the entire photo set less than a week after the shoot. Thank you Heidi, see ya next time!!

I was half convinced we'd end up with at least one of us crying in each shot, one with their eyes closed, and one hitting someone else. But Heidi made this such an easy endeavor- she's so fun and great with the kids, and most of all, everything felt relaxed and natural. I really dislike overly posed or contrived looking photos, but everything came out looking so real. No cheesy poses or smiles! She even managed to get some good ones of me! She really captured the personality of our family. Needless to say, she's been taking our annual family photos ever since. THE BEST!

What I will remember about the studio sessions was how joyful they were, how much we all laughed. The finished portraits continue to bring us joy. Such a nice reminder of how fast the time goes, and our children love looking at them and are proud to show them off. Switzerfilm was the first vendor that I called after getting engaged and I told them that I would pick my wedding day based on whatever availability they had. From start to finish, they were wonderful, creative, professional, and an absolute joy to work with. Switzerfilm was by far my favorite part of our wedding day. They made me feel so special throughout the whole day. My husband never likes getting his picture taken, but even he loved Switzerfilm. They were able to capture the most amazing photographs and video footage. I had very high expectations of Switzerfilm from the very beginning and they surpassed what I had even pictured in my head. The pricing is very comparable, especially when you figure in that you have full rights to all of your pictures afterwards. Out of all the amazing things that Switzerfilm does right, the same day edit completely blew me away. They will put the video on a huge projector screen so the whole reception can enjoy it. To have the whole reception stop, walk away from the bar, and be completely quiet is nothing short of a miracle. Switzerfilm has THAT affect. After our video was played I had countless people come up to me and tell me how perfect it was and how they want/wished they had that at their wedding. My parents are still getting stopped by people in the grocery store 5 months later telling them how much they enjoyed our video. It is the most perfect keepsake from our wedding that we will truly enjoy for a lifetime. I am forever thankful to Switzerfilm for helping me have the wedding of my dreams!
