The plumber looked in my shower and saw gaps in the grout. I also had him cut a hole in the wall to check behind the handle. No problem there. While YouTube can be a great resource, there are definitely some things that only come with experience and knowing the tricks of the trade. Christian (Epic Plumber) quickly identified what needed to be done, installed the new faucet correctly, and even verified the repair by using the access panel behind the tub to ensure there were absolutely no leaks inside the wall. That extra step gave me real peace of mind that the job was done right the first time. He was professional, courteous, and respectful of my home. One thing I especially appreciated was that he put on boot covers before coming inside. I don't allow outside shoes on the upstairs carpet, and without me even having to ask, he took the initiative to protect my home. It's becoming harder to find contractors who genuinely care about doing quality work and treating a customer's home with respect. Epic exceeded my expectations, and I would not hesitate to hire him again or recommend him to anyone needing plumbing repairs.

When I followed up on Monday I was told they were busy with people they had scheduled over the weekend, despite them having scheduled me on Friday, and they refused to acknowledge or confirm if or when they would ever go back. We have numerous properties in Houston alone, and have never encountered such a level of irresponsibility. We will never use them again.
