Good plumbing work but don't let them install a bathroom vanity. Poor quality.

They came over to give me an estimate of $500-$1500 to change the shower water spout . I had a small droplet leak. They promised they were going to order the part. It's been over two weeks now and never heard from them again. When a client loses confidence on you, that's it. Game over. Don't even try to call me back and apologize. Time to find me a nobody clandestine drive by plumber. They may never guarantee their job but they will get it done as they have in the past. read more

I cannot say enough good things about the quality plumbing team. I called them on a Sunday evening and they not only answered but they scheduled me for the very next day. The next morning I woke up to an additional plumbing issue at a different property. (I am a property manager with several properties) No problem. They scheduled that one for that same day. So far so good. Discovered--along with half of Galveston--that I had a burst pipe. At 5:30 PM. City Water Department shut off the main line. Called my regular plumber, but he's relocated. Contacted the name he gave me, but he was booked for a month. Called plumbers with good Yelp ratings, got nothing but full voice mails or "call in the morning" messages. Called Quality and a real live human answered... And he was an actual plumber named Terry, actually fixing something for someone (at 6:30 PM). Took my info and said they'd get here tomorrow, and try to get here in the morning. The next day I was told I'm #8 on the list and they should get here that day. The jobs were more involved than expected and I got bumped to Friday AM (by then it became clear that this was a Galveston- wide calamity, and the demand for plumbers was insane!). My plumber called mid-morning to say he was enroute, and took care of two split outdoor pipes in a couple of hours. He even reattached the bird netting attached under the deck! They answered, they showed up, they fixed everything... For a new client, in the midst of a disaster. Quality will be my plumber from here on out! read more

These guys seemed to know what they were doing, charged me fairly (literally ONE-THIRD THE PRICE QUOTED BY ISLAND MANN PLUMBING), and told it to me straight when they were done. I had a complicated problem that couldn't be fixed completely, but they did what they said they would, tried different things more than once, and were friendly and reasonable. For my next job, I will definitely consider Quality Plumbing again and will include them in the bids I seek out. read more

Very good communication. On time and finished in less than an hour. Washer drain plugged, backing up into bathtub. Guys were very courteous and friendly. Cost $275. which I expected it to be about that. Will definitely call on them in the further. read more

We had a plumbing problem, this weekend, and sadly we didnt have the tools to take care of the problem. Quality isn't just a name for this company it is the way they do everything! From my initial contact to my jobs completion everything was done with high quality workmanship by a hardworking duo. Once they assessed the problem it was apparent that I had a major leak due to another companies prior poor workmanship. Quality Plumbing was meticulous in inspecting the damage and kept me informed of what needed to be done. They could not have done a finer job. The repair was lengthy and involved and messy. Quality plumbing literally saved me thousands of dollars. Had another plumber come out because I had no hot water. They charged me to replace the thermostat, which did not work. They gave me an estimate for a new hotwater heater which was outlandish. I called Quality Plumbing to get a 2nd opinion. They came out the next day and replaced it for almost half the price. The owner was extremely nice (and funny) and very fair and honest. Chuck, who replaced the waterheater was very knowledgeable and professional. Highly recomend!!! read more

I called early in the morning after The City trash truck accidentally hit and broke my gas meter. They had to pull the meter until I got it fixed. I called Terry, he immediately sent over Ruben and his crew. They got there, pulled the permit, installed new gas lines, checked the hot water heater to make sure it was up to code...and we were back in business. All the guys were very professional, and hard working. They really were! I also received 3 quotes (from local companies) that were double/triple in their estimate. I haven't been on the island long and hadn't called a plumber before. I called Lister Plumbing. The receptionist said dispatch would call me later with a schedule. An hour later I called back. Same answer. An hour later I called Quality Plumbing. I explained my situation to the owner,Terry, and he said he'd call me right back. He did in 5 minutes and told me someone would be calling me to come over. 5 minutes later Gary called and said he'd be there in 15 minutes and he was. They immediately figured out what was wrong, went and got the part that was needed and solved the problem, Everyone was very polite and professional. I will be calling them again. Only 4 stars because they forgot about the 9:30am appointment and I had to call - he had misplaced the paperwork - very busy down here with all the leaks and probably because I had called the week before (I should have called the day before to confirm - I will next time). read more
