Immediately it was clear to me that he had read nothing about the case that I was involved in. He answered the phone exhausted and asked how I could help how he could help me. And which I had to go back through all the details of my case. But not really. Because in reality I have extreme anxiety and sometimes when I'm nervous I talk fast and I talk loud which seem to annoy him. I tried to explain to him about my anxiety and apologize profusely and without really hearing or listening. I should say about any of my damages that don't just involve me as a person but also my property. He stated that if I wasn't seeking medical attention, he couldn't help me any further. That's not what I was saying at all. And then he hung up on me. So basically I'm telling him how I felt insignificant unimportant irrelevant small devalued the night of the incident I felt like this gentleman just reiterated it and somehow was able to validate it. When seeking an attorney you want to find one that's going to go into battle with you. Unfortunately, this gentleman was lackluster. He didn't want to have a fight or a battle. He wanted to slammed dunk on case that was handed to him, and apparently I wasn't that girl so I would definitely not recommend these gentlemen

I cannot say enough about Amanda Kerestes and the team at Notaro Family Law Group. Going through a…read moredifficult and complicated divorce is incredibly stressful, and having an attorney you trust makes an enormous difference. Amanda is intelligent, prepared, strategic, and exceptionally thorough. She has taken the time to understand not only the legal issues in my case, but also the history and details that matter. She is able to cut through a tremendous amount of information, identify what is important, and stay focused on the bigger picture. What I appreciate most about Amanda is that she is honest and straightforward with me. She does not simply tell me what I want to hear. She explains the strengths and weaknesses of an issue, gives me realistic expectations, and helps me make informed decisions. At the same time, I have always felt that she genuinely understands what I am going through and is committed to protecting my interests. Amanda and the firm are also very conscientious about legal fees. In a case that has involved substantial litigation and could easily become financially overwhelming, I have appreciated that they are mindful of cost, thoughtful about how attorney time is used, and focused on the work that is truly necessary. I have never felt that unnecessary work was being created simply to generate fees. Amanda is also extremely composed and effective in court. She is well prepared, knows the record, listens carefully to testimony, and knows when and how to challenge something that matters. Watching her advocate on my behalf has given me tremendous confidence during an otherwise very difficult process. The entire team at Notaro Family Law Group has been professional, responsive, and supportive throughout my case. Divorce litigation can be exhausting, especially when the issues are complex and the process becomes prolonged, and I am very grateful to have Amanda representing me. I would highly recommend Amanda Kerestes and Notaro Family Law Group to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, diligent, ethical, and strong family-law attorney.

We started working with this company and initially dealt with Ken, who seemed kind, personable, and…read moreprofessional. He provided a very detailed list of exactly what was needed -- down to the T. I'm very organized and made sure every single item on that list was turned in. Everything was submitted exactly as requested, and Ken personally confirmed that all documents were received and even commended me on my diligence throughout the process. Then, out of nowhere, the secretary claimed they didn't have certain documents -- even though Ken had already confirmed they did. Since then, it's been difficult to reach him directly, and we've been passed around to different people who don't seem to be on the same page. We were also told from the start that we only needed to complete one counseling certificate, which we did. Later, we were informed we'd have to pay for another one. The process has been confusing, inconsistent, and very unorganized. We're still in the middle of this process, and unfortunately, it continues to feel all over the place. At this point, we're hoping to get our money refunded.

A Mess of an Organization…read more I spent 2.5 years working with this firm, after a referral from a colleague. It is arguably one of the sloppiest professional services companies I've ever experienced. The number of documented problems I experienced with Dornish Law had is egregiously long, but I'll stick to the worst: 1. Attorney Turnover - I had five different attorneys. The first was fired, the second "disappeared" with no explanation. The third quit. The fourth was a partner who made it clear I would be handed to a new attorney "when they became available." The fifth was a counsel who made it clear in writing, that my case was not her priority. 2. Multiple Incorrect Filings - Seven different filings with local courts were submitted incorrectly and required re-filing. One of the attempts of service on the defendant was made. The next day I received a call from an attorney saying "we f***ed up the paperwork, and have to resubmit." That mistake resulted in three additional months to find the defendant, who relocated after being served. They couldn't even bill me correctly, having to amend 4 different bills due to incorrect hours tracking for work never completed. 3. Witnessing Verbally Abusive Behavior From a Partner to a Counsel - When trying to rectify one of the mistakes above, I watched attorney #4 verbally scold attorney #3, like he was a child. It was so uncomfortable, I asked to end the call after she said to him "just stop talking." 4. Long Gaps in Progress - On two separate occasions, I went over six months without an update. At no point in my case did I ever feel well-informed. I would be provided dates when I could expect an update. Those deadlines would pass, and it would require multiple emails and calls to get any kind of answer, usually several weeks later. Most of the time, it was "no update." Zero initiative. 5. Poor Advice - It took over $3,000 in billings for me to ask at what point I'd be eligible to recapture attorney's fees from the defendant. I was then informed my attorney fees weren't eligible for recovery in this type of case. I wouldn't have even taken this case if I knew that at the outset. It got to the point where I was actively soliciting consultations for legal malpractice, when one firm said it wasn't worth the effort, because they'd be "punching down" to go after Dornish Law. I am tired of pursuing this case, and am walking away from any potential money because of how badly this firm supported me. The lost money stings, but what really bothers me is just how terrible it felt being in a situation where I needed help, trusting they'd take care of me, and getting the bare minimum (often low-skill) effort in return.
