Recently went into rental wheel again to have my hair pressure checked out. Ian and Jesse were the best. They had great communication skills. And made me feel welcome as if I was family to them. I have been here a couple of times and I always love coming back to look for new tires or wheels if I need them. The guys here always make you feel at home. Rent a wheel will continue getting my business!

Updating again, the in person service is good. I financed some all season tires for my daily driver accord and had a decent experience besides pesky phone calls the day of payments and a few misunderstandings over the phone. Ultimately I would be willing to use this location again. I didn't know I had a warranty left over after paying off, but the tech notified me I'm covered for tire repairs & rotations, through the extended warranty. which is nice. I appreciate the recent few in person experiences, they've been helpful. read more

I'm neutral. Customer service was pleasant. My husband wanted to purchase a tire here but I'm skeptical on places that rent out tires . Some folks are hard on their tires.. The tire that was being sold to us was actually already spoken for in the computer. What I though was nice was they called la Sierra tires and networked and sent us to them as they diddnt have on hand what he wanted... I am a yelper so I'm trying to get hubby to try one more place in Fontana that has nearly 5 stars with over 50 reviews. read more

Honestly the one guy who here is actually working to give good customer service "Ricky". This guy does his best to answer your questions and help you out the best he can. Guys patient and willing to answer your questions. Unlike one of the managers there named "Jessie" guys a dick and always has a comment to make so honestly go to Ricky don't waste your time or energy with "Jessie". I'd honestly be leaving a bad review if it wasn't for Ricky. read more

I bought rims and tires in 2014, during that time, I was told to wait hours to have my wheels rotated and I paid them off in 90 days. They could never pull up my account because the Manager misspelled Garcia !! Who misspells that name? Then I called and asked them to order a new centerpiece. I was told to wait and call back by Jesse. I called back and they said no problem they'll order them. Then went I went in it was like "dumb and dumber'"!! I will NEVER go to that store again in my life!! They were rude and no one knew anything!! I was aggressive and stated " I need the tires I've ordered over the phone and the centerpiece" Chris and Jesse said I was rude and had to fill out exact addresses of each reference!!! I don't carry around people's addresses!!!! I went to the Riverside store and they were so awesome, nice and happy to help me!! I have new tires and the centerpiece!!! I picked out some wheels that I thought would be right for my truck. so the guys at Rent A Wheel wasted no time getting them on my vehicle and I said no it wouldn't work for me. Sold me wrong size tires. After specifically telling them I didn't want too low of a profile. I learned the hard way to do your own research. And be sure to shop around this place is way over prices. Over 600 for USED tires. Try La Sierra tire. They treat you with respect. And have great prices. They had same size NEW at under 360. read more

i got the BEST customer service here. i went in on a wednesday afternoon & ricky greeted me. i was looking to purchase some new tires for my nissan sentra & he hooked me up with an incredible deal on some nexen tires. he was very patient with me and explained everything in detail. he did NOT rush through any of the paperwork in regard to my tires and i left feeling 110% satisfied with my service. what most stood out to me was that i felt like a valued customer! he went above and beyond to make sure i picked the right tires. i will be recommending family & friends to rent a wheel in fontana & will be referring them to ricky! 10/10 would recommend to a friend! :) read more

Looked around town for a "plug" job as everyone else wants to do patches. We were in a constraint for time as we were heading home. For $10 the guys here got it plugged, sealed with tire cement, and balanced. I was back in the car and headed back to pack for home. We drove home ranging from 65-85mph with no issues and no leakage. Called and spoke to the fantastic Juan who said come on down. I thought I had just one nail in my left rear tire . The very alert Alan spotted another nail in my right one as well. I absolutely love the atmosphere, the vibe, the warmth that I experienced immediately . All the workers just seem calm, happy and just loving life.. Translation and end result - great, efficient, very reasonable( $25 per tire) professional, honest service from Juan and his team as I sat and almost nodded off in the comfortable chair in the waiting room. I was in and out in 17 minutes. Just a 5 minute drive south of the 215 and a minute from Arrow. Golden Tire sets the Golden standard. Good, really GOOD people here! Grateful.

This week my father brought his vehicle to this shop to address an oil leak, he is not a mechanic…read moreand specifically asked for help diagnosing and fixing an oil leak. Instead of properly diagnosing the leak issue , staff claimed he requested "valve cover repair" which is not true. He works in medicine and does not even use or know mechanical terms like "valve cover". He relied entirely on THIS SHOP's expertise to both identify and address the actual problem. They charged him almost 700$ for VALVE COVER gasket replacement and the oil leak was not fixed. They then refused responsibility and instead blamed my father, no refund, credit , proper diagnostic or fixing of the actual leak issue. IF the shop was unable to properly diagnose or address the oil leak, they failed to clearly communicate that to my father (the customer) before proceeding with repairs. This is absolutely unacceptable. If a customer comes in asking for help with an oil leak, it IS the shops legal responsibility under California Law to properly diagnose and NOT perform unrelated repair and then shift blame when it fails. This experience felt extremely misleading and exploitative especially in a community without mechanical/maintenance knowledge that depends on local shops to be honest. We will be filing a formal complaint with BAR (Bureau of Automotive Repair) so the state can determine whether this shop properly followed legal and ethical standards. I strongly advise others to be cautious and get a second opinion before agreeing to ANY form of repairs here, Based on our experience we simply cannot recommend this shop for accurate diagnosis or reliable service. If they couldn't fix the oil leak then they should have said NO, instead of performing a repair that did not address the problem. UPDATE: golden tires put on a legal document (receipt) that labor for 1 HOUR was 519.50 dollars. Receipt was also added in BAR formal complaint. State of California limits PER HOUR labor charges. DOUBLE CHECK or file formal complaint w BAR if you need further clarification.

Who in the right mind would buy two tires that are different, even if they're used and that the ad says nothing about this. Also, sure they will install them, but they don't balance the tires, because of course, that's extra. So coming in for $25 used tires thinking sure I'll pay $50 for two, ends up being over $100. If that is not crooked, I have no idea what is. The only thing I will say, though is the two employees that were there were very nice, and they were just doing what the owner told them to do. So I don't blame the employees at all. They were actually pretty cool.

After they fixed this and charged me almost $1,200, they proceeded to tell me my car still wouldn't start. My car then sat in their garage for multiple days. I had to constantly follow up with them, only for them to tell me they couldn't help me by day #3. I rolled my car out of their shop with a $1,200 charge and a broken car. Thank god I contacted a smaller, local mechanic who was generous enough to come to my house, fix all of my wiring and replace damaged parts for HALF of the price of Mountain View Tire. He was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. All in all, I will not be coming back and would not recommend coming here for anything, including oil changes. Please call your local shop and give them your money, which will be about half of what you'd spend at this place by the way.

had the worse experience ever!!!! lets start off by when I picked this place to choose some wheels out and got quoted $745. on 2crave 18" saline black(4) so liked them pay cash $700. and would pay the balance when we pick them up in say couple days the most a week he said manager "CHRIS" had NO problem taking that CASH from my hand quick status ok.... WHAT'S NOT COOL BRO(2weeks2days) coming from VEGAS really Vegas is only 4 hours away I shouldn't take that long better off going and driving out there to pick them up myself, Every time I called to get a check on where about are my RIMS? I swear to GOD!!! I had been shopping around for tires and rims and of course the prices where outrageous so I happened to check out Fontana Rent A Wheel because a friend had told me they heard good things about them so I thought I would give it a try and I am so glad that I did, I went in there and everyone was very friendly and helpful, it was a stress free experience. I had also re connected with a good friend of mine that I didnt know worked there and she had shared with me that she had known the owner Chris for years and tha'ts where she gets all her tires and rims for her vehicles. The R.A.W. team let me be a typical woman and keep trying different rims to see what I liked best, and never once got tired or gave me additude for being so indecisive..lol They are all AWESOME! Found this place through an add on social media. Decided to visit the website and see about getting some new wheels. The website was awesome but I'm always skeptical about stuff online. Called in to get some more info and the way the young explained the program made it seem just as simple as the website. So I went into the store to get everything finalized was greeted right away gentlemen in the back walked right up to me and got me situated immediately. I was surprised by the service because the store is a bit old. But all the employee's were smiling and having fun. Kept me at ease and they treated me like an old friend. I am a little late on this review but I got some brand new tires 4 my girls chrysler 300 back in November and I am very satisfied with the customer service and the management at this facility. I do have to say I am very pleased with the quality of my tires and the professionalism that I experienced when I got my tires. the staff there was very friendly and helpful with all of my questions and were able to accommodate my needs. When it comes to caring and quality work for your customer please go to rent a wheel in Fontana ca.my experience on 11-07-13 was great. The tire tech catered to my tire needs and explained what was actually wrong with them. The manager Chris really takes care of his customers.my stud was stripped and Chris referred me to a very professional shop and I was taken very good care of. I was in desperate need of new tires and I contacted Rent a Wheel because of their 90 day same as cash plan. From my first conversation with TODD, he was unbelievably friendly, polite, prompt and professional! He immediately assured me that he would take care of me and he absolutely followed through! Had a very good experience at the Wheel in Fontana. Chris the HNIC greeted me with great customer service I immediately felt welcome and comfortable, thx again Chris. Juan was the BOMB! This was my first time getting wheels for da bimmer, Juan was honest and very helpful, he even went over and beyond by going to a couple different place to get the right tires and wheels. I had visited another store and got very subpar service. They weren't rude but they also didn't really seem interested in my business. So took the time to drive to Fontana and see how this store was. From the minute I walked in, I was greeted and welcomed. They weren't pushy, but they were very attentive. I had a couple concerns, but they were very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I was at the store for about 2 hours but they are installing wheels and tires and had 2 cars ahead of me so not bad of wait time. Thanks. I had a great experience here purchasing my rims and tires. A big shout out to Jessie and Chris who did a fantastic job trying to find the right rim and tire! Couldn't find the right size at first, but they dug in and found a perfect size, perfect looking rim and tire for my Nissan Frontier! The program they have is excellent and fair to rent to own. Just wanted to thank this team for helping us get some new wheels and tires. They were very helpful and made things really easy and simple. I have been with them before but there were 2 new faces and the manager Jesse was still working. Which was awesome to see a familiar face. I requested something similar to either the TE37 or the Work Emotions ZR10. Alex pulled through got me some rpf1's really clean rims! Loved them! The glossy black rims with the perfect tire combination were really good. The staff was really helpful and very chill. The tires and rims have amazing value to them as well.
