I have never had this issue before, they may have forgotten to take the $39.00 sign down, but the 2 signs were up as I shopped, so much for the customer being right. I wear an 11 or 12 in Women's (42 European) and my foot is wider so I have to try on everything. I knew I wanted Birkenstock sandals and I know I'm now a 42. Thankfully I remembered Cobbler's Bench from a previous trip. They had several Birkenstock styles that I wanted to try on and they had many in 42! I tried on 3 or 4 pairs and found a great pair thanks to the help of the woman working with me. When we came in she offered to put on a mask because she saw we were wearing ours. I told her it wasn't necessary, but I appreciated the offer. She insisted on helping me in and out of each pair of sandals and she offered suggestions along the way. She was very kind and patient. I highly recommend letting them help you find the best fit. They did a great job! The prices for Birkenstock shoes were the same as online (without specials/sales) so I picked out the pair I wanted and took them home that day. I was very happy with my trip. Thank you!

The Just Black jeans fit like Jeggings and feels like them but they are jeans with nice stretch. They fit every curve perfectly and it feels like you have PJs on. They were so cozy on a that I almost forgot I had even tried any on in the dressing room. Found a black and white stripe sweater with cute cinched sides at the bottom and made it look more edgy. The big over sized sweater with the large square pockets felt so nice and like a big hug. I know which sweater will be my new favorite this fall. I was able to get out with 2 sweaters and a pair of skinny jeans for the same price I paid for my Parker Smith jeans yesterday. Today was a good day for shopping.

It's one of those places where every corner feels like a photo op...beautiful lights, themed buildings, and a really fun atmosphere. There are so many incredible, quaint shops to explore, and a bunch of them offer free samples, which makes wandering around even more fun. We've still got plenty to come back for too, like the Ultimate Mirror Maze and the Blacksmith Experience. Some of our favourite stores we visited this trip were Sticky Situations, Enchanted Forest, Zac & Mac's Chocolate Haus, and Cherry Republic, all packed with personality and great finds. Some of the knives were really cool but pretty pricey. It was $100 for a nice small knife. We weren't too interested in the other items in the shop. Over the years things have become more pricey, as has anywhere else that's touristy, but I will say they have some very cool and unusual things they carry that if I did have loads of extra cash I would purchase! Like these really cool heads, all the fairy things, leather products. Have some pictures included. The one thing we went in for this year a couple weeks ago was to check out the new bar. They even have a pretty good size outdoor patio that unfortunately we didn't get to take advantage of because of the rainy weather. It was still open for late October though which was nice. The bartender was extremely nice that day(we were in town from Oct 23-26)and very knowledgeable about the Zehnder family, Bavarian Inn, etc. It was a nice conversation we had for sure since I've been coming to Frankenmuth for so many years. Going off the Fall special drink list, I tried the Cranky Mule, my daughter tried the Frankenstein Monster one. For $8, it was a good size and decent price. No complaints they were both good! Will be going back here for a quick drink next time shopping here again. One special note, I believe there is a coupon for a free gift in the visitors coupon book. The minimum purchase has gone up, but the free gift has always been something nice here.

He did say they could be a little slow and it may take 3-4 months, so he set my expectations. Fast forward to 22 June, I was about a month out from leaving for Scotland, so I called to get an update because my order didn't show up in my account, I assume because I ordered over the telephone. I spoke with a nice lady that said she would leave a message with her manager to call me, never received a call back. I called on 7/2 and 7/6 and left voicemails, no call back. Called on 7/11 and spoke with the gentleman that took my original order who said he would have to get with the owner since the owner was the only one that deals with Lochcarron orders. By 15 July I hadn't heard anything back, so I submitted a message through their website. Later in the day the owner replied back apologizing for the slow response and said he had contacted Lochcarron for an update. Later that evening he replied again and informed me they had said it would be finished and still in Scotland on the 11th of August to which he offered to have it shipped to a location in Scotland. He also offered a free rental. By the 11th we would have already been returned home so shipping in Scotland wouldn't have helped. By this time, I had already ordered a replacement kilt from another company that guaranteed it would be delivered prior to our departure, so I declined the free rental. When I received my replacement from the other company I realized I had lost 6 inches off my waist and needed it taken in. I emailed the owner on 27 July and asked if it was too late to have the waist made smaller since it was still 2 weeks before it was scheduled to be completed. I never received a response. I received my kilt today, it is beautiful for sure, but I'll have to take it to the seamstress I found and have it taken in. I have no doubt that normal orders are handled just fine but if you are ordering anything special or out of the ordinary leave plenty of time and don't expect much if any communication. That is my only complaint, poor communication after the sale.

I am a shorter gentleman 5,3" I loved the selection and found a kilt that matched what I wanted perfectly however my measurements led me to wanting it a little shorter. . . So a custom order it is. That was July 31st 2026. I was told by the owner 6 weeks, at 6 weeks the shop manager didn't even have my order to send in. Lots of emails and calls weekly to the store for any information. The only email reply was Sept 9th with a quick apology and a statement I would have it in a few weeks. It has now been at 4 weeks and the order has not arrived to the store to be shipped out. Good products just stick with what they have in stock

They do have a very nice assortment of Pandora jewels, so that's quite nice if Pandora is your thing.. I liked some of the clothing but they didn't have a lot of smaller sizes available, so that's a bit of a bummer. They do tend to tour their 'designer' handbag line but I find it very underwhelming.. I think you're better off picking up a serious designer bag finding a lower priced nice bag at Coach, Kate Spade or Michael Kors on sale the outlets in Birch Run.. sorry, those bags at White House do not impress me one bit.. As far as customer service goes, it's hit or miss..we were greeted this time when we walked in browsing, but the employee didn't even look up.. no one else was helpful and the lady behind the Pandora seemed pretty distracted.. we left without picking up anything this time.. I have purchased Pandora here before m, but this time was a bit of a letdown.. I'm sure we'll be back when we come back to Frankenmuth.
