I was completely healed in less than a week. Fast forward to last week, my daughter (age: 13) injured her back messing around with her dad. It wasn't getting better so we called Dr. Mike. He was so incredible explaining everything to her, giving tips to help her adjust her posture and stretching. He did the adjustments and she could feel an immediate difference. He asked me to text him tomorrow to check in and have her return next week to assess. He is extremely knowledgeable and practices gentle manipulation on the back, neck, arms, hands and legs. She is brilliant at the structural piece -- vertebrae, discs, alignment, muscles, fascia and all that. And occasionally I do need that. (The first time I saw her, as I recall, it was to see if she could do anything about a chronic hip/groin pain that I frankly thought was here to stay. She fixed it pronto.) But most often when I see Muffit, my issues are way less tangible (at least by other practitioners!), more subtle / slippery -- in the realm of the psyche/spirit. She treats these with the same straightforward, un-woowoo compassionate authoritativeness that she would a slipped sacroiliac.
