messy serving and somewhat very unfriendly staff, if I won't need anything really urgently, I'd avoid going there again

"so, you all have the same thing?" "yup"…read more"you, your wife and son?" "yup" "with the same symptoms?" "yup" "....buuut, your dose is worse?" I look at her quizzically "of course, I am a man after all" "?" "...man flu, much more serious than anything a wife or child can get... look, I know you don't understand, how could you? you are a lady, maybe if one of your male colleagues would care to tend to me, he'll understand..." It was at this point the nice lady behind the counter, instead of shouting things like "STAT"... and screaming that she needs "20 CC of oxyproposomething" simply reached to the shelf behind her and picked a packet of lemsip. I was beginning to think she wasn't taking me seriously. ...actually they are incredibly helpful in Boots and more than willing the dole out advice where needed, even to neurotic short, fat balding man.

In general I try to avoid Boots because it's way over priced for a lot of brands. It was over 2 EUR cheaper than Boots. However, swings and roundabouts, I am a fan of is the Boots own brand hand cream, which is very reasonable and goes on lovely. I was here today because I couldn't find what I was looking for in Dunnes, so I checked boots and they had it. As for this store, it's well laid out. This Boots is better than the one on Grafton street, but only because it's got more space. They do have a great selection of all your usual pharmacy fare. It's bright and clean. Staff are generally friendly and very helpful. But as a rule, I try to shop in a supermarket or in your run of the mill chemist down the road, but as a last resort Boots is reliable

Very disappointing experience at Boots Liffey Valley Ireland…read more Today, at the payment counter in the pharmacy/medicine section, I specifically asked a staff member (Asian) whether there were any offers available on my Boots Advantage Card. She simply told me there were no offers. Shortly afterwards, another Boots employee informed me that I actually had offers available in the Boots app, but they needed to be activated before payment. Unfortunately, because I had not been given this information at the counter, I missed out on a very good offer. I returned to the counter and explained that she could have informed me that offers may need to be activated in the app. Instead of acknowledging the issue or apologising, she responded by asking how she was supposed to know that I had not activated my offers. This was particularly frustrating because the reason I had asked whether there were any offers on my Boots card in the first place was because I was looking for guidance. A senior staff member then became involved, but rather than acknowledging the poor customer experience, I felt the response was mainly focused on defending the staff member. I would expect customer-facing staff to have reasonable knowledge of the Boots Advantage Card and app, or at least guide customers correctly when they specifically ask about available offers. A simple explanation at the beginning would have avoided the entire situation.

Absolutely terrible staff at Boots Blanchardstown shopping center. especially that blonde girl…read moreworking at the perflime till definlately needs to learn some manners on how to talk to customers and NOT to SHOUT at them. And when asked on calling the manager they are so cowards that they refuse to call the manager.
