Let's just say that almost $30,000 is not worth a motor with low miles... And that's all we would've been getting... Longtime Customer - Extremely Disappointed with Declining Service…read more I've been a loyal customer of The Boat House for years and have purchased multiple boats from them--always on the promise from management that I'd be taken care of when it came to service and support. Unfortunately, that promise has been completely broken, and the quality of their service department has only gone downhill. Most recently, I brought my boat in for what should have been a simple repair. I was told it would be ready in a week or two, but nearly a month passed with no communication. I had to call repeatedly just to get updates, and every time I spoke with someone, the story changed--parts were ordered, then backordered; the boat was being worked on, then suddenly it wasn't. There was zero consistency and even less transparency. When I finally got the boat back, I was shocked at the condition it was returned in. It was filthy--greasy handprints on the seats, dirty footprints all over the deck, and it clearly hadn't been cleaned or cared for at all. I brought this up with the service department, and all I got was a casual "sorry," with no offer to fix it or make things right. To make matters worse, the original issue I brought the boat in for still wasn't fully resolved--and now there was a new issue that wasn't there before. Again, no urgency, no accountability, and no effort to deliver the kind of service they promise when selling boats. After spending millions of dollars with The Boat House over the years, this experience makes it painfully clear that customer loyalty means nothing to them. I will not be buying another boat from them again, and I strongly recommend that others look elsewhere if they expect any level of professionalism or long-term support.

Nov 5, Phoned in for update. Response was Power Lodge experiencing Pod caste issues - leave message. Can they be more cryptic? I just want my bike back. I knew we were gonna take a loss, but they only offered me $5k on trade. The Side x Side only had 33 miles and 6 hours on it. They were way lower, by thousands than every other dealer that I got a price from. I will never buy anything from them again and suggest that you don't, as you can see how they would treat a possible returning customer. To offer almost $10k less that what I paid 6 months ago is a serious insult and a huge statement about their integrity and loyalty to their customers. They would have listed this for sale for at least $12k. I suggest you do not buy from them!

New owners/…read moremanagers Steve is now working along with his wife and another guy they are a complete fabrication shop who also does mobile welding as needed. I'm restoring an old 1978 mako hull and going from a two tank 2 cycle engines to a single tank with two larger 4 cycle engines. So my upgrade in engines required a different shape fuel tank unlike anything that I could order online. I really wanted to put in a plastic tank and save a few bucks but using a local fabrication guarantee me that it will be done right and it won't have to be returned if something wasn't just perfect. We drew up plans and modified the tank to include safety ground onto the tank. According to Steve there were 3 styles of gaskets that were slightly different. We will take care of that later on. This tank will be 90 gallons and Steve included baffles and all the fitting for pickup attachments fuel inlet and venting. Turn around will usually depend on if he has the materials in inventory or if it's ordered in. I was lucky my job was dropped off late Friday before closing and it was done on Tuesday midday after a half a day of testing.
