In one room someone was in the phone very loudly discussing how their office was under review for serious HIPPA violations. Then, to add insult to injury, I heard a different manager discuss my situation with the front desk person. Telling him that "it's not Stanfords problem, it's my problem and I need to call insurance." After hearing this despicable response I asked to speak with her and directly confronted her about her disrespectful and unprofessional remarks. I then asked her, how are patients supposed to know their labs will be sent to quest or labcorp if they go to Stanford for lab draws, she states, "we tell you that when you refer you to the location." I told her "yes, well NO ONE TOLD ME THAT." That's what I had been trying to explain to them for over an hour. Her response ? "Oh I'm sorry, well what's your insurance?" At first it may seem like a standard calorie deficit diet program. When you combine that, with regular exercise, low carb diet, their supplements and weekly accountability check ins, it makes all the difference.
