My experience at Rare Medical Aesthetics was incredibly unprofessional from start to finish. I initially booked an appointment for chin filler (1 syringe), but during the visit, the provider pushed me to also get jawline and lip filler. I trusted her suggestion, but she never clearly explained how much product would be used or what the total cost would be.
After the appointment, I wasn't given an invoice. I had to reach out weeks later, and it still took days for her to send one. It was clear she never made one until I asked, and when I finally received it, the numbers didn't match what I had paid. The entire process felt unorganized and made up after the fact.
Soon after, I noticed one side of my face looked overfilled. When I brought it up, she brushed me off and said, "that's just jawline filler." I went to another provider for an ultrasound, and they confirmed the filler was uneven and excessive. I had to get a significant amount dissolved to correct it.
I also asked for my facial chart multiple times. Not only did she fail to provide one, but when I followed up, she actually called me and said, "What are you talking about?"--as if she had no idea what a facial chart even was. Instead of sending proper documentation, she just texted me a vague summary of what she claimed was done. That is completely unprofessional and unacceptable in a medical setting.
To make matters worse, I later learned she had only injected 0.2 mL from a new syringe at one point without telling me, and still charged me as if it were a full unit.
This experience was filled with red flags. No transparency. No documentation. No accountability. Just someone focused on making as much money as possible. I would never recommend Rare Medical Aesthetics to anyone who values ethical and professional care. read more
