He would often refuse to do school work and started falling behind in Math. However, after attending the Tutoring Center, he was able to work his way back up to grade level. He not only worked his way back to grade level, but he actually enjoyed going to the center each day to work on his assignments. I cannot thank the staff at the Tutoring Center enough for the hard work and effort they put into making sure my son was successful in his educational endeavors. I highly recommend them to anyone who has a struggling student or a student in need of enrichment work.

If you're in a core class, don't expect anything good. If you're in an AP class, don't expect to learn anything or get curves. If you just want to get by, the staff somehow want you to just have the worst experience you can: - in 2023-2024 year, they added individual passes that teachers had to write instead of a class pass and required backpacks to be next to the walls instead of by your seats. - in 2024-2025 year, they added a shape detector at the main entrance. This caused a backed up line every morning with people cutting it and struggling to remove their computers and other things. (P.S: if you think it's a good idea to have a shape detector in a high school, you're beyond ignorant). - in 2025-2026, a bunch of teachers were laid off, start time changed from 7:30 to 7:20 AM (but day still ended at 2:40), nosy hall monitors, and overall strict staff. There's some decency though: the school looks nice in terms of architecture, some great teachers, and decent clubs and sports. It's just sad otherwise that this school has gotten worse over time. And Dr. Kent, please retire as a principal. Stop treating high schoolers like kindergarteners.

They really could use more signage outside to direct visitors to what part of the building you are entering. Lots of steep steps, although there is a handicap ramp of course, as required by law. It's located right across the street from Town Lake Recreational Area, which is a nice bonus, that it's in a beautiful setting. The restrooms are adequate and well located in the spacious lobby. Overall, a great venue for hosting the event we attended.

After consuming the burger, I must make haste to the water locker (bathroom) for my digestive system can not withstand the power of the burger buns with an overlaying shade of green. Trust me, I love this school, I live in the school, and I own this school. I would know. Also, every time I get an ice cream sandwich it has already melted to an extent, even though it has been in a cooler. The ice box should be colder.

Good luck! They have no other plan for you and you have to sit for hours at a time for mass and much more. If you appear to be disabled, some staff were extremely rude and genuinely lied about students behavior to get them in trouble for no reason and/or picked on them. One math teacher I had screamed at me and other students constantly and taught with fear rather then patience, I used to cry because she would pick on me over and over again in class because I have a sleeping disorder and mental illness so I wasn't preforming well. Do you like being discriminated against based on how you act and dress? Fear not this place will do that to you! If you wear a non normal fashion they will target you and follow you around in the mornings to make sure you don't have anything thats not allowed in dress code. The rules are made up. by the teachers half the time It says so in the student handbook. Most teachers were great but the disciplinary department is so awful. If you want your kids to cry every night because they don't think they're good enough then send them here. Send them to BL or any other school but this one, I will never forget a lot of the trauma I experienced here and I'm disgusted by this school because I paid for it.

The teachers who work here are fantastic and they make learning fun. I also liked that they challenged us a little bit. We would learn things that we shouldn't learn till the next year. I remember when they made us learn how to write cursive in second grade and they told us we need it in life. The people who work here are so great that they decided to follow me to high school. The librarian that used to work here is now the librarian at my high school. She the best librarian ever.Overall this school is great and so are the teachers.
