Dropping off our son for his first day of daycare, back in January 2019, I remember consoling my…read morehusband outside the school. (He's a crier, but don't tell him I told you that.) He couldn't shake the worried feeling, and said, "I just hope he knows we're coming back." I told him, and I reminded myself, that I believed our son was ready and that the experience of being without us would strengthen him, and seeing us walk back through the door later that day would secure him. I don't know what made me sure of this other than the confidence Primrose of Frisco at Main/Teel gave me and my mama intuition. I felt that before anyone else, I first, needed to have the belief in my son and his capabilities - even at only 15 months old. I share this story with you for any parent out there leaving their child for the first time in the hands of a good teacher and school. Your child can do this! And, so can you! Our son has continued going to school even through the pandemic. (Again, personal mama intuition on this choice. Please don't judge.) School closures and the lockdowns were launched in March and Primrose of Frisco at Main/Teel didn't skip a (heart) beat. Temp checks, no parents passed the front door, more curriculum outdoors, etc. - they were ready and willing and brave. There's been excellent communication at all times. At the beginning of the year, our son had begun the "terrible twos" and by March they were in FULL swing! Because of the continued support and attention from his teachers, his communication and growth have exceled! March, April, May, June, July, August - I can't imagine and can't thank this group of leaders and teachers enough for their dedication during this unprecedented time. And I can't imagine the valuable time our son would have lost without the opportunity to attend school. Our daughter recently joined her brother almost two months ago. Drop off was very different this time around and now it was ME crying with unrest. I knew she was capable; she had my confidence. But... we didn't get to hold her hand while we walked her to class. It was a feeling I wasn't used to, simply passing her off at the front door. But once again, I put my faith and trust in the teachers and they have helped guide this ship in so many ways. In a world that feels so unpredictable, so "on the verge," so uneasy, I am so thankful for the steadiness our teachers and family at Primrose of Frisco at Main/Teel have provided our family and so many others. Thank you a million times! You all are leaders! Sincerely, The Harringtons

He called me and my husband to not only apologize for everything but also to acknowledge this was an eye opening for him and his school. He assured us he will be more involved in the school, meet the parents, make sure they hire effective teachers to take care of the kiddos and be more present to ensure his staff gives their 100% to the kiddos. As an educator myself I admire when one admits their error but also does something to improve and correct the problem/issue. This is the meaning of growth! Thank you Parkash for showing us there is still good people and that it takes a village to build our community.

There is a sense of security and safety here given the location and access codes required to gain entry. Our son has also learned to flourish and express his personality. The arts and crafts the teachers complete with him are precious and the constant updates via the app daily on what he is doing, eating, napping is essential. The facility is filthy--sticky floors, grimy toys, and a bathroom that looks like it's never been cleaned. No wonder there is a lice outbreak right now! Curriculum is disorganized, with zero structure or learning focus; it's basically chaos. The teachers do their own thing while claiming they write their lessons and follow a program to help. Even books are given in the curriculum and they are not used as parents are told. The "snacks" are cheap. Communication with parents is nonexistent--good luck getting a response without being berated by the front office staff with an attitude. Michelle, Tanny and Annabel are all involved in this. Avoid this place at all costs; it' not worth it.

They are a breath of fresh air and have been so great to our family. Everyone has made us feel so at home and there are so many things about this school that I've been impressed with. One is how amazing the teachers are. My 5 year old is in pre-k and I am confident they are preparing him for kindergarten in the fall. The teachers have been patient and kind and have really worked with us to make sure he is progressing both socially and academically. I love seeing and hearing what he is doing during the day.. My 2 year old loves his teachers too and they are always so warm and friendly. I'm seeing him grow and thrive as well! I love the daily reports I receive so I can know what my kids are learning through the day, and the teachers are wonderful about telling you things you can work on with your kids. Administration can be a pain point for some, but not at Primrose! They are on their game 100% Communication is fantastic and proactive and I am always prepared for what's coming soon and what's happening next- from tuition, to events, to incident reports (Which begin with "First of all, (your kid) is safe." I love that- it's a small thing, but that's the kind of thing I notice). It's incredible. On top of that, they are just about the nicest people you could ever meet, in the most authentic way. My kids are happy, learning a lot, getting fed amazing nutritious meals, and being well cared for. Trusting others to watch your kids for you can be so stressful, and I'm so glad we enrolled our kids here to check worry off my list. Primrose Preston Meadow is the best!

I LOVE the glass walls and that they use gloves when changing the children and was ready to sign my daughter up that day. All seemed to be moving well and they we're checking on space, but as soon as I mentioned I was on the Childcare Assistance Program (which they are a part of) everything came to a complete halt. They brushed me off and said oh call us back, which I did, I was determined to get my daughter in and called multiple times to only get the run around with voicemails and saying the manager wasn't available. She finally called me back as she saw I wasn't going to let up and said my daughter would be placed on the waitlist and received an email. I haven't heard anything since. Online I saw someone was on the waitlist for 2 years, and if that is the case an update would be appreciated. This seems like clear discrimination through a program that THEY decided to be part of. I'll be sharing with multiple channels.

The care, love, and education my kids have received has been unparalleled. Not only were my kids well prepared for grade school, but they were also equipped with the knowledge of what Jesus did for them on the cross. We will continue to use Schoolhouse for afterschool care and their wonderful Summer program for as long as they will let us! The Summer program is such a God-send, since we don't have to run all over town, carting kids to multiple week long camps. Instead, they have the consistency of care, weekly fun field trips, and time to swim in their on site pool (with life guard). Overall, we couldn't be more happy with our experience with Schoolhouse. Schoolhouse is the place for your kids to be if you love Jesus and want your child enriched by a loving and caring staff/environment!
