Review for Watercourse Way Bath House Spa…read more A peaceful oasis in the middle of Palo Alto that works for just about any occasion. This is a long overdue review. I have been to Watercourse Way by myself, with girlfriends, and with boyfriends--and it has been solid every single time. Whether you're looking for quiet alone time, a girls' day, or a relaxing couples experience, this place truly has something for everyone. What makes Watercourse Way special is the privacy and flexibility. The private rooms are beautiful and thoughtfully designed. Each one typically includes a hot tub, cold plunge, shower, and a comfortable resting area with clean towels and linens. It feels like your own little retreat tucked away from the world. They also offer larger rooms that are perfect for sharing with friends--soaking, chatting, and maybe adding a massage to the experience. The massage services are excellent, and you can book them individually, as a couple, or as part of a group visit. The staff makes the whole process easy and welcoming. A few practical notes: * Parking can be a little tricky right near the entrance * I usually park at the Whole Foods on Homer Avenue and walk a block or two--it's simple and feels very safe * The facility is consistently clean, well-maintained, and professionally run * Prices are reasonable for the level of privacy and service you receive What I appreciate most about Watercourse Way is how it encourages you to slow down. It's the kind of place that reminds you to take care of yourself, breathe, and reset. Life is short. Stress is unavoidable. You can't control other people--but you can control how you respond. So go soak. Get a massage. Unwind. Make it part of your routine. You'll leave calmer than when you arrived--and that alone makes it worth it.

This was a nice relaxing girls hang out…read more We booked a hot tub room for an hour ($40 per person) and I for one cannot stand a hot tub for longer than 20 minutes so it was more than enough time The inside is cute and clean, and they have showers. The little store inside is also so cute - they have JellyCat plushies too! They also offer you tea / ice water when you walk in.

I booked the 9am and got there about 8:25, which gave me time to get oriented/tour facility and do a soak to prep. The reviews were accurate. I glad I was solo, made it easier being comfortable being nude. Lots of amenities to glam up before leaving. It was calm and quiet when I arrived, and got busier as I was leaving. Staff was great, and made me feel comfortable and welcomed. They explained everything and answered questions with a smile. The place was super clean and staff actively removed used towels/swept throughout my stay. A good scrub, felt like a symboloc ritual for shedding the old for the new. I now have baby soft skin!

After the body scrub they wrap your body in a foil while they shampoo your hair and apply a face mask. The spa is small but has the essentials: sauna room, steam room, cold plunge, and jacuzzi. Upstairs there's a clay ball room and the salt room. My absolute favorite was the clay ball room. I was so relaxed after my 90 mins treatment when I went into the clay room I almost fell asleep. I will definitely come back. Only thing is it is in japantown so parking can be hard. But it was very convenient to go across into Japan Center for lunch afterwards

A friend of mine made a appointment for me without checking with me and I did not want to come to…read morethe place. I called the company and told them that a friend of mine made the same-day appointment and I was to call and let them know what services I wanted. I did not see any service that I would like to have because they did not have what I wanted and I told them I wanted to cancel. They said I could not cancel because the appointment was made today and their policy is that they could not cancel. I explained to the lady that a friend of mine just made the appointment not even 20 minutes ago and I do not care to go. They informed me that they would charge her card anyway so I went there so my friend would not get charged. They charged $35 for me to put my foot in a bucket of water for 15 minutes. I am not happy with this place nor the policy and I will never be back here. I asked a worker is this all the service she said yes I put my foot in the water for 6 minutes and left. This is a reply to the answer that they wrote on me, I was not late. They asked me to come in 15 minutes early so I could check out with my other friends who had the nerve to stay there. They were very rude and nasty and was upset because I am telling the truth. I would not recommend this place to a dog! Horrible
