Yummy, (GOOD FOR YOU) desserts! :D

OO! ~JUST~ what I was looking for! FRESH, vegan food that tastes GOOD! :D This opened in June 2024 by the owner (Janna) who was 'raised' without meat, dairy or eggs, ALL. HER. LIFE. FOLKS. . . Because of 'that', she knows a thing or two, BOTH about nutrition AND flavor! Seriously. And if I had 10 thumbs, I would hold them all up for her and her friendly staff that make the 'magic' happen! She first started delivering to cafés & various gyms, until it grew so popular that she has now opened this wonderful 'brick and mortar' place! It is located on the S/W corner of Marks & Bullard, in the same shopping center as Ovidio Italian restaurant. They have premade items 'to go' or eat there, which they can heat up for an extra fee. Go on their website to see their current offerings. They also can contact you when they are making your favorite item. I really, REALLY want to try their 'Shiitake Mushroom Banh Mi Sandwich', so I signed up! ;) I had the Sesame Soba Salad (OUTSTANDING), my husband had a Wrap and we shared Bean Soup, Hummus, Pesto Pasta Salad and a delicious 'Rocky Road' cookie. All had great flavor! No, it's not organic. You will have to go to 'Raw Fresno' for that, but this is a close '2d'. Maybe in time and profit they can expand to organic also. Listen to 'Auntie'; . . . you. will. like. it.

Lovely and welcoming storefront, spectacular selection of ready-to-go meals. Upon entering, was able to find several options that I wanted to try - the flavor combinations are SUPERB would not change a single thing. My childhood years were spent enjoying many delicious meals prepared with care by my father (a classically-trained chef), of whom I think about when I was enjoying my meal today. This is a nod to the owner/chef of the restaurant, your work is SEEN and GREATLY APPRECIATED. Being a chef is such hard work, dedication, and hours of self sacrifice to share your passion with others with the hope they will see your heart in each menu item prepared. Humbly, thank you. Lots of respect. I am ashamed to say I had not ventured out to try your food before today, but I will from now on be a regular customer. The holistic care your food is providing to nourish the bodies that enjoy it, is a blessing to our community. Day made, GI happy, taste buds highly satisfied! Blessings on all your business endeavors, Amy

One of my favorite vegan places for lunch. Everything is so fresh and well seasoned. I feel like I can indulge in the food and not feel guilty. The service is always so friendly and quick, the chef is there and she takes the time to explain the menu , which changes often. The desserts are ever changing according to the season and always so yummy. I got 3 dishes, the spicy mac and cheese, a buffalo sandwich (tofu) and the pasta salad, 3 dishes were about $35, a little on the pricey side but it's worth paying for good quality food

Impressed is an understatement! This place has exceptional food and the owner is so friendly and nice. I travel a lot for work and I always struggle to find healthy and tasty plant based food on the road. The food is packed with flavor, nutrients, and you can tell they really take pride in what they do. I tried a plate, some energy balls, chia pudding, and muffins and they did not disappoint. I was also very happy they did not take the easy way out and rely heavily on ultra processed meat alternatives like many vegan restaurants do. If you are skeptical about plant based food, this will change your mind! This will be my new go to when I am in the area.

I've been following this lovely young lady for awhile now on ig. I was so excited she just opened her shop on Saturday. I went for the grand opening and got the 3 pack of tacos. I'm not vegan or vegetarian but her food is so delicious. All the tacos were different but equally good. I honestly thought I wasn't going like the black beans and sweet potato taco but it was my favorite. The sweetness from the potatoes and the black beans were a perfect match. She sells yummy desserts too. If you're in the neighborhood and looking for healthy food definitely give her shop a try.

I've been following this young lady on social media and was very excited to check out her storefront. It's a great welcoming environment. The owner is kind, knowledgeable and patient. She answered all the questions we had. Got 3 items- strawberry chia pudding which was very tasty a little heavy on the chia but delicious. It reminded me of Frescas con Crema but more healthy. Salad was fresh and delicious enough for 2 people to share. Sandwich was also shareable, fresh and tasty. This is a great addition in an area overrun with unhealthy fast food options.

I was super excited that Rappit Up! was finally open. We frequently visited the food stand any time that it was at a farmers market or event in the area, but being able to go to the restaurant and pick up lunch is priceless. Even better, since the meals are premade daily, there is no long wait for your food. This is more convenient (and much healthier) than a fast food restaurant. The inside is super cute. There are places to sit inside and a couple tables outside. Janna is so friendly and helpful with meal suggestions. 10/10 recommend that everyone try this place out!

Just a few things we picked up for the week!

Major kudos to Kenji's Teriyaki Grill for consistently delivering some of the best teriyaki rice…read morebowls in Fresno. They excel at producing tender, juicy proteins paired with excellent in-house sauces, and their menu offers an impressive variety of options, including chicken, beef, pork, salmon, shrimp, fish, and tofu. I have tried their three most popular choices: chicken katsu, grilled chicken, and beef tri-tip. The chicken katsu features a light, airy, and perfectly crisp panko crust that gives way to incredibly tender, juicy, and flavorful meat. The grilled chicken is equally impressive, cooked to succulent perfection and coated in a teriyaki sauce that strikes a near-ideal balance of savory umami, gentle sweetness, tanginess, and the aromatic warmth of garlic and ginger. In addition to traditional gyudon-style thinly sliced beef, Kenji's stands out by offering premium cuts such as beef tri-tip and steak. This may be the only teriyaki house in Fresno I have visited that uses heavily marbled, higher-quality beef. The tri-tip bowl delivers a harmonious balance of bold, rich flavors. The meat is smoky, juicy, and remarkably tender, while the teriyaki sauce enhances it with layered sweet and savory notes rather than overpowering it. A major reason Kenji's shines is that all sauces are made fresh in-house daily. The difference is unmistakable. The flavor, texture, and overall quality far surpass those of mass-produced sauces filled with artificial additives. Their teriyaki sauce is vibrant and aromatic, with garlic and ginger at the forefront. It is not overly sweet or thick, has a subtle hint of spice, and coats the meats beautifully without masking their natural flavors. The teriyaki rice bowls themselves are as good as it gets. The proteins are generously portioned and clearly the centerpiece, while the vegetables are fresh, crunchy, and vibrantly colored. The rice is fluffy and comforting, providing the perfect base to balance the richness of the meats and sauce. Each bowl is hearty, well-proportioned, visually appealing, and deeply satisfying. To top it off, the counter service is consistently friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable when it comes to recommendations. Orders come out impressively fast, making Kenji's Teriyaki Grill an easy go-to for a high-quality, reliably comforting meal.

The sauces complemented the meat well and added a nice kick. The only downside was the rice, which was a bit overcooked and slightly mushy. Still edible, but it didn't hold up as well as the rest of the dish. Overall, a tasty and convenient spot for a quick teriyaki fix

Something about the taste was off and I couldn't get into it, which was disappointing because I had heard good things about it. I ended up switching my order to the chicken and waffles, and that completely saved the meal. It was so good. The chicken was crispy, juicy, and full of flavor. I got the spicy syrup on the side along with regular syrup, which was the perfect move. I also tried their garlic truffle fries and those were amazing, easily some of the best fries I've had. Their ranch is really good too, which made it even better. Shoutout to the hostess for being so kind and helpful when I asked to switch dishes. They didn't charge me for the pasta, which I really appreciated. I was definitely sad about the lobster pasta because I was excited for it, but overall I still had a really good experience. I'd come back again and just try something different next time.

Of course I did the classic thing and remembered to take a picture of my food after it was already halfway gone I ordered the stacked turkey club, and my cousin had the lobster garlic noodles. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm welcome by Sandeep Kaur. It was inspiring to see an all-female team running the show with such dedication. The food was beyond authentic. We ordered the Amritsari Kulcha, Tadka Dal, and rice, and every bite was remarkably fresh. The Kulcha was the star of the show--presented sizzler-style under hot tava with fumes still rising. Honestly, it tasted even better than the kulchas we had in Amritsar last year! The Tadka Dal and yellow rice were the perfect, delicious compliments to the meal. We desperately need a North Indian spot of this caliber in SoCal. We're already wishing they'd open a branch in the LA area. Thank you Sandeep kaur for your hospitality and the service.

Both were a little more on the spicier side than expected. I prefer the regular samosa over samosa chaat. I was missing the crispiness of it. Hakka noodles ended up being too spicy to our niece so we ordered a second one with just the tomato base which was still delicious. Since there was only one server for all the tables and pick ups, it took awhile to get our food. We had plain Roti (1 per order), Butter Naan (4 per order), Shahi Paneer, and Paneer Tikki Masala. Again both of the dishes were flavorful and creamy and had a kick of spiciness. Unlike other Indian places I've been to they do not ask you what level of spice you would like. Roti and rice were nice but I would not order the Butter Naan again. You cannot taste the butter even though it was glossy. Their food were delicious! Hopefully they get more severs for days where it's busy.
