We were about an hour from home and looked to see the closest transmission shop to have our van towed to. We had the car towed to E&R transmission and left the van in a parking space and key in the drop box. He called me immediately the next morning letting me know that I would need a new transmission which I was prepared for. He gave me what I felt was a very fair quote to repair the van and had the van ready for me to pick up on that Friday. I was at their mercy having never used them before and simply having the car towed to their shop. I could not be happier at how I was treated, the cost of the repair and the friendliness I received from start to finish. I plan on making E & R the auto repair shop I bring my vehicles. The tub was badly rusted, and could not be removed from the radiator end without damaging the radiator. He gave me the option of replacing the radiator and cooling line or putting in a separate cooling radiator which was about $250. Less than replacing the radiator and would give better transmission cooling. He completed the work as promised and did a great job.called I highly recommend this shop for any transmission work you may have. They are honest and do a great job!

My son checked it in and said do you need to see the contract and the guy said no I've got the key. It's all good. He did not check either in for two days; and late charges went on my bank account looking like I returned it late because he did not take the time to check it in when we returned it. Now I'm dealing with U-Haul trying to get my money back. Very unprofessional and a horrible way to do business.

Sarah answered my cries for help (and laughed with me and not at me). Ben was very kind, efficient, and tried to make me feel better about my predicament (you got really far on yhe gas you had!). I'll admit I was initially skeptical of the glowing reviews for Frank's Auto (we are talking about an auto shop here, after all). But after having them perform a couple of extensive repairs on my Acura, I TOO have become a fan (and also now understand that one other reviewer and how he was 'sad' when he moved out of the area and couldn't use Frank's Auto anymore!) Keith is about the nicest guy you can run into. He is very responsive to your questions and clearly knows his stuff. When he can't answer your phone call (again, he himself is in the shop working), he calls back pretty quickly. He has finished the repairs in the time span originally noted. The repair costs are very reasonable and he does a great job explaining pre and post repair on the breakdown of the costs.
