Everything that I order came in perfect condition. The shipping was super fast, I was expecting the package on Thursday and arrived Tuesday!

By my estimation, this Walgreens location is in the running for the best Walgreens in all of…read moreQueens. I think that the head pharmacist is especially professional, and her professionalism inspires other staff members. Admittedly, the role of pharmacist in NYC can be a thankless job. This phenomenon is compounded by 1) ungrateful patients and 2) the ubiquity of paperless/electronic prescriptions. First, the average New Yorker is not especially lavish in his or her praise. Out-of-staters would do well to add at least one star to any New Yorker-curated review. Second, I'd venture to say that an overwhelming majority of states continue to use paper prescriptions without complication. The misguided practice of electronic prescription shifts the onus of safeguarding prescriptions to the pharmacist. Someone who is constantly receiving an endless supply of traceless prescriptions. Environmental concerns and opioid abuse notwithstanding, medical prescriptions are sufficiently important to justify a paper trail. It stands to reason that it is infinitely easier for any given patient or a licensed caretaker to manage that patient's 2 or 3 paper prescriptions. In fact, the Fourth Amendment's prohibition against unreasonable searches and seizures applies where a person has a reasonable expectation of privacy. As the country's strictest paperless prescription law, to date, the 2016 state law arguably violates the Fourth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. After all, a reasonable expectation of privacy could not be more evident outside the patient-physician relationship. In effect, the New York State legislature's improvident measure forces New York patients to choose a private third party (typically a pharmacy) for electronic disclosure of their sensitive medical information as a condition precedent to many medical treatments. But I digress...this is not a Yelp review for the New York State legislature. However, if you are interested in the law's constitutional import, then please check out the informative, albeit dated, article below: https://www.aclu.org/blog/privacy-technology/location-tracking/federal-court-says-your-prescription-records-arent-really For the aforementioned considerations, any professional who can keep their wits about them in the face of such odds is deserving of 5 stars. This is certainly a case where the adage "less is more" is applicable.

The lead (or who i am assuming is the lead pharmacist since i have seen her there for years and years) is without question disgusting and rude. I have come here and called multiple times for different medications and each visit/phonecall was met with hostility from this pharmacist. This person made me feel stupid for politely asking questions over the phone and their tone was unhelpful and judgemental. Whenever I come to pickup prescriptions in person, the other people/pharmacists I see who usually are at the register are wonderful, but whenever this lady takes over, my experience becomes more drawn-out and unpleasant. I feel that the nature of my presciptions has an effect on the way this person treats me. I hate leaving reviews and I truly hate leaving this one, but I feel that it is necessary due to the unacceptable behavior here and I know I am not the only one since I have witnessed the same treatment towards other customers here. Tldr: they either hate helping you or enjoy making this process difficult, but either way do NOT come here.

I was already at the register to pay and this old ugly woman was giving me dirty looks(cashier) and this younger employee that seriously needs to wash his face was walking up on me like he was going to do something. idk who they THOUGHT I was but I have zero reason to steal I'm very well taken care of. that being said I will never shop in here again only pick up prescriptions. I have a love/hate relationship with this place. Pros: open 24/7 and good variety of products…read more Cons: always out of stock of whatever it is I need, inconvenient layout of the cashier area and attitude of some cashiers. What bothers me the most is that they are ALWAYS out of something I needed or went there for in the first place. Prime example was yesterday's shopping experience. I needed regular aspirin and couldn't find any. This wasn't a fluke where they happened to be out of it that day. On another day i wasted time looking for it because even though I was in the right section there wasn't any. Sure they had tylenol, advil, etc. And every other iteration of aspirin except for plain ole generic or bayer. The other thing I needed to get was an apple gift card. I usually buy it here and it's the one thing I "thought" i could count on to be in stock but Lo and behold the whole section for Apple gift cards was completely empty. Overflowing with other ones though. Never had I felt so defeated and disappointed in a store. I ended up buying Pepsi (cause they were out of coke) and whatever food was in stock to get something out of my trip. Fortunately I had a nice cashier who was willing to bag my groceries with my reusable bag. There are other cashiers who refuse to do it. I don't have a problem bagging my own but the problem is there's no room on the counter and a plastic window in the way. You're totally screwed if you're buying a lot of stuff. It's a circus with the cashier handing me my stuff around this divider for me to bag while I'm also busy unpacking and handing them stuff to be rung up all while trying to keep track of whats ready to be bagged or not. So much easier on everyone if they just bag it as it's rung up especially with such tiny counter space. That's what they used to do until they boycotted plastic bags (which is mostly a good thing) but now it's more work for me and non-existent customer service. I'm a glutton for punishment cause I continue to shop there. Ugh what's wrong with me?!?

Despite all of this, they still refused to give me my medication. What made the experience even worse was the way I was treated as a Spanish speaker. There were employees who spoke Spanish, but no one was willing to properly help or listen to me. I felt discriminated against and dismissed instead of being treated with professionalism and respect. To start off it's always hard to find someone to help you out and now most of their products are locked in the display cases so you need to first find an employee and then drag them to your case just to open it. They also eliminated their huge greeting card selection which was always nicely stacked and now it's just a small section with few basic cards. Not to mention CVS is always so much more expensive then other stores so if you don't have a coupon you're paying full price and then some! The only good thing is this location is open 24/7 so you can walk in anytime and get whatever you may need. Hopefully things improve at some point!

The lines can get pretty long, especially if they only have one or two people in the front checking out. Not sure what happened to the self-checkout machines that they had before. It was definitely a lot more efficient before and now, it feels like they backtracked. The location is pretty clean and they usually have everything that I need in stock. Recently, they also started locking certain things up, which I imagine is due to more things being stolen. I haven't had any major problems with that but it can be a little annoying sometimes to press on the help button whenever you need to get something. There are a lot of personal things that are locked away so it's kind of awkward at times as well. My sister wanted to buy deodorant and even that was locked up. I can deal with a short wait but the rudeness is so unnecessary. Tired of dealing with that.
