I can't say enough about how wonderful my experience at Rapid Recovery was. I have been super sick for a while now, and a new medication that was given to me by my doctor left me severely dehydrated and feeling horrible. Instead of going to the ER where I would've sat forever in a cold room and wasted half my day just to be seen, my husband convinced me to give this place a try. I will never brush off his advice again! (Ok, that's a little bit of a lie!) But I am so happy I listened to him because Rapid Recovery was AMAZING!! The ambiance was so peaceful, the choices of treatments were perfect for whatever ails you, the rooms came complete with comfy couches, pillows, heated blankets, tv, snacks, beverages...it was like going to a spa. The staff was so pleasant and helpful and did everything they could to ensure my comfort. They carefully considered my needs and assisted me in choosing the best treatment option for my condition. It only took about an hour to complete my hydration treatment and I was actually sad when it was over! By the time I left, I was relaxed, well hydrated and feeling so much better. I give this place five stars and would give them more if it were an option! I can't wait to go again! A++++ read more

CALL FIRST! We have enjoyed numerous visits to help an elderly family member with dehydration issues. Great facility, very comfortable and accommodating. We will continue to return to them , but we will call first as we cannot trust their stated hours; we have found the business closed on numerous occasions. Scheduling appointment is your best approach IMHO. read more

Last minute need, walk-in, and they were very accommodating. The place is spotless and comfortable. The prices are at or below other places I've seen. The staff were welcoming and skilled. Left feeling much better and will definitely return. read more

History

Established in 2017.

We started this business in Shreveport in 2017 and expanded to Tyler in 2020. Decided to open after visiting an IV spa in Vegas and going from leaving three days early to back at the tables in an hour and a half. Oddly, we misjudged the market. 90% of our patients are suffering from illness, overwork, bad nutritional habits, migraines, or just plain old dehydration. We opened thinking we'd be a hangover clinic, and that only represents about 10% of the folks who come see us. Live and learn. Give us a call. We're super happy to answer questions!

Meet the Business Owner: Bob and Rachel W.

Bob, a former neonatal therapist, and Rachel opened Rapid Recovery after Bob visited an IV spa during a visit to Vegas. Bob has been in the medical industry for years, and realized that when a person needs fluids, vitamins, and meds to recover from dehydration, illness, overexertion, overexposure, or overindulgence, there's no need to pay the ridiculous co-pays and deductibles your health insurance will charge you to go to quick care, doctor's office, or ER, when you can pay cash to be treated in luxury. Thus, Rapid Recovery was born.

When I spoke to the receptionist, she assured me she would contact the provider and the provider would reach out to either send a link or reschedule. I asked would the reschedule cost additional and was told there would not be any additional charge. 6 1/2 hours later, lady from the office called to let me know it would be an additional charge of $25 for a reschedule. Completely unfriendly and unprofessional. Glossing over the fact that the link was not sent well after my appointment time and telling me I refused to take responsibility for the fact I did not reach out until 15 minutes after the scheduled appointment. She became angry and combative when I question why I would be responsible for the provider sending the link after the appointment time and I had to scramble around trying to find the link and a number to call because I didn't have the link. Yes, it took 15 minutes. Due to the fact they pre charge the client, there is no incentive to ensure the client receives service. So, I'm now out of pocket for $99 and no service. There are many other places that provides the same service without the unprofessional attitude.
