Since then, my garage door was back-breaking to open, and they told me there was not enough ceiling space to install an automated garage door opener. I got tired of lifting the heavy door, so I called Adam, who responded immediately and diagnosed the problem as a spring that was too small for the 90-pound door and a track that was too close to the wall. For $300, he replaced the spring with the correct size and adjusted the placement of the track. In addition to that, he said he could install an automatic opener using the front wall (not the ceiling) for $575, which he did. And so, after years of putting up with a terrible garage door, Adam has given me a garage door that is easy to open manually and which I can open with a remote. I appreciate Adam's knowledge, skill, and his willingness to explain the problems and solutions.

I texted his business phone number explaining my need for a durable lock on one of my inside home doors. He not only responded quickly but sent 5 or 6 photos showing different door lock possibilities. I was amazed at his organized approach to answering my inquiry. Each photo listed where it could be purchased, a description, and a price. Impressssssive!!! I scrolled thru the photos and found the perfect lock-type in a beautiful, modern style/color that matched the theme in my house. It was perfect! I texted Eli with my selection, and not 15 minutes later, he responded. By the way...this was definitely after work hours. I had no expectations of hearing back until the next day. He also had given me the option of buying the door handle lock or having him purchase it. The great customer service just keeps on coming! On the day of installation, Eli arrived on time, with a brand spanking new, in the original, unopened package, door handle with lock. He had the old door handle out and the new one installed in no time at all. He provided instructions and gave me all the package inserts for my files. The lock can be used with a key or by using the numbers (see photo). And he even asked if I wanted another key cut, so I would have two just in case. The…read moreyoung technician, who was competent and friendly, examined my safe lock, replaced the 9-V battery, waited five minutes for the reset, and successfully activated the digital pad lock. This entire process took under ten minutes, yet the company charged $180.41. This seems excessive and highway robbery. Charging $100 for labor to change and out in a 9-V battery and recommending a specific energizer battery took barely a minute on top of the service call and battery cost. Even the digital pad was still brand new as I replaced it five years ago and it didn't even cost me that much back then. This was truly outrageous and beyond overpriced. Highway robbery!

He then says to go somewhere else cause he would charge me $29.00 just to come down to the 'shop', so go to Home Depot or some other locksmith...like Ace Hardware. If he hadn't cut me off, and listened he would know that I had the lock cylinders in-hand with no keys. Home Depot nor Ace doesn't make keys unless you have one to begin with.
