I needed to remove an old sofa bed. It was a full size but very heavy…read more I live in a second floor condo and unfortunately, the sofa bed did not fit in the elevator. It also did not fit the stairwell on the side of the building. Owner and son had to tie it up and swing it down over the stair railing to get it down to the outside walkway. I thought they were going to give up, but no, they got the job done and were extremely professional. They even told me that they can tear down any item and haul away piece by piece if need. I responded I would be there for the appointment. A little more than 2 hours before the appointment, it was cancelled by them and I was notified they would not give an estimate if they couldn't see the items. I told them they could see the items. This was the agreement right from the start. Then they said they could come and look but still not provide estimate. I complained at the corporate level since this is a franchise of a national company. This is not how I do business. Not for a very large job and not with anyone. Do not recommend these bait and switch people at all. Life is stressful enough with a big job ahead. There are other companies out there. I have already had estimates from two others without problems, and will get at least one more estimate before deciding. Junk King in Hialeah just lost a very big job.
