The Nurses were kind, responsive, and showed genuine care and concern. They got me right in for a chest x-ray, which i learned showed nothing of concern. Dr. Joan Venerosa, PA, however, was dismissive, condescending, and glib from the moment she walked in. She was argumentative, dismissing my symptoms as insignificant because she "didnt hear me coughing", and that my ongoing fever was only slightly elevated. (102.6° at the time of my visit). Ok, so you dont think I'm sick. But to treat your patient like they're a bother, or overdramatic ? To make them feel uncomfirtable or like they need to prove themself to you? You chose this profession, Dr. You chose to provide care to those who are seeking it. Where in your handbook does it state that you are to dismiss and shrug off someone who is asking fir your advice and expertise? Is it your goal to have your patient think, "Wow. That was a waste of time"? Do you encourage this dismissiveness? Do you hope that next time, i dont bother to seek medical attention? Customer care and service are the most important part of most any industry - medical included.

Medicare and Blue Cross covered facility…read morecharges but St Marys doctor who was supposedly on duty that day (My wife was told by someone there that the doctor on duty had already gone home for the day and never did see that doctor) was not an in network provider with United Health Care even though St Marys facility charges were in network and bill came to us for that doctor on St Mary Letterhead. I talked to United Health Care and was told that if she had gone to Emergency instead that Emergency is required by law to let you know whether or not the provider on duty is in network but that Urgent Care is exempt from this law. I notified my local federal and state legislators of this loophole. Meanwhile I can not recommend St Marys Urgent Care as I felt that even though probably legal the billing practice was unethical.

Did an exam not the full but something since he is not sure he already sent me for some testing. Labs which ones not sure, MRI of the brain, EMG. The only thing maybe he should of MRI my neck and back to. But one thing at a time. Office pretty good. I hope he will not give up on me or make a snap closed minded DX on what is going on with me. He seems like willing to help but we both need to be confident with each other. He needs to trust my symtoms/aliments, and I need to trust what we says and what testing is being done or testing like MRI not being done. Wish me luck Dr and patients need to trust each other.

I would not recommend anyone I like to see Diane Vecchio or go to Mohawk valley orthopedic. Terrible Terrible experience
