The professionalism of the practitioners (known colloquially as Dr.'s J, D, and Q) is exemplary, as they explain the how's and why's of the effects of alignment on the body's health. The office itself is small, with the adjustment tables being separated from the waiting area (sporting the usual array of magazines for the adults, and a good-sized play area with plenty to keep even the most distracted child entertained) by a half wall and a fish tank. An automated system allows for a quick swipe with a key fob or card for check-in at both the front desk and the adjustment tables. They offer affordable care plans with different payment options, and, depending on which payment periodicity you choose, various discounts. I went in today feeling congested. A quick adjustment of the ears (who'd'a thunk you could adjust EARS, of all things!) and I was immediately able to breathe out of my nose once more. Amazing! Go. The first visit was a group consultation, where Dr. J went over their philosophy and their methodology. The goal was to help us understand the importance of chiropractic care. The second visit was an information gathering session. Dr. J went over my health history and used a spinal scan to pick up areas of nervous system stress. Because of my history, I also got an x-ray as well. On the third visit, Dr. J went over his findings, first making sure I understood "normal" spine alignment and neurological activity. My results weren't so awesome, but I've had back pain for a while now. Dr. J didn't present any of the results as being "scary". Everything he explained seems resolvable as long as I put the time and effort into it. After that I had my first adjustment. I will be going to the Guilderland location from now on because I live in Albany, and the drive to Ballston Spa is a haul, but I would absolutely recommend the Ballston Spa location to anybody in the area.

One is within a great gym and the other is smaller and self-contained with fewer people around (an unfortunate but necessary pandemic concern). The former can make use of the gym facilities for targeted strengthening and the latter has its own small gym that has met my needs. I recently made my choice based on proximity to my home; otherwise, they're equal. I have experience with two therapists, James, the owner, and Tracy. Both are knowledgeable and experienced and have great empathy regarding our aches and pains. I trust both completely. There are other therapists with whom I don't have experience. Even my ortho doctors have been supportive of my choice to go to LaMarco. They have great respect for their services. Bottom line: I completely trust them and won't consider any other therapy business unless dragged there kicking and screaming! I'm apparently not the only fan because I find I have to book well in advance to get my preferred time slot.

Urgent care is an accident waiting to happen for anything that is not basic. OrthoNY and Cardiology Associates of Schenectady have walkin hours, so that is appropriate as needed. The day RN was all but cold to me obviously more interested in dealing with mother baby patients.. Even had the nerve to ask me if I needed the plastic surgery or did I just want it.I felt very insulted. She offered no assistance with locating my husband or showing guidance in the process. I even asked her if they took me out in a wheel chair ect... Her response was "you walk in you walk out" I am an RN myself and was horrified with her treatment. I took my belongings and tried finding my way to the lobby, I was very light headed and weak two staff members noticed I was not doing well and questioned me why I wasn't in a wheelchair, I told them what the nurse had said , they righted her wrong and were extremely apologetic.
