It was important to find a practice that would provide a customer-centered approach and one that would be patient, attentive and mindful when caring for my dad. I also wanted a practice that was clinically focused and innovative in their approach. I highly recommend Nussbaum chiropractic. The practice owner, Dr. Keith Nussbaum is very personal and even called my dad to check on him following his first session. Last year, my husband was hospitalized for severe mental confusion. Hospital neurologist was…read morecertain this was a symptom of tick-borne illness and placed him on antibiotics. He showed some improvement, but others on his care team disagreed about the cause of his symptoms, and he was discharged without further antibiotic care. Two weeks later, he had to be re-hospitalized because the confusion came back. When I asked for them to resume the antibiotic care, I was met with huge resistance, but our neurologist put us in touch with the Stram Center and told us to follow up there. From that point on, everything changed. I first spoke with Nadine, who listened carefully, expedited my appointment with Dr. Stram and guided me through the intake process. For the first time in a month, I felt heard, cared for and hopeful. We saw Dr. Stram in May 2025 and what can I say? He spent hours talking to us about my husband's health background and symptoms, and, after careful evaluation and testing, identified that my husband had contracted multiple tickborne infections. He developed a thoughtful, holistic care plan that was tailored to my husband's individual needs and included input and supervision from multiple, interdisciplinary clinicians. We travelled to Albany for 6 weeks of 5-day/week treatment. It wasn't easy and it was expensive (health insurance covered very little). But was it worth it? Absolutely! Dr. Stram, Nadine and the entire Stram Team (from the front desk to the nurses and technicians) were always approachable and present, answering our (many) questions with patience, respect, transparency and professionalism. My husband has recovered his mental functioning and his overall health has greatly improved. My gratitude for the Stram Center team is boundless and I'd recommend them without reservation to anyone who is seeking help with complex medical questions and has struggled with the mainstream medical system. My only regrets are that insurance companies don't want to recognize wholistic health practices (so many people can't access this valuable care), and, that it took me so long to write this review.

They take time to diagnose, discuss, and apply sensible programs. They keep on the ball by tailor-making the procedures and then "up the stakes" as the client improves. Over the years I've gone to many PT providers. These are the best! Dr. Traudt examined my needs and correctly directed me into PT. After that, he cordially keeps in touch with words of advice and support. Dr. Fitzgerald is taking excellent care of my wife, and shares her care with PT Trish. My wife is grateful for receiving great coordinated help. We thoroughly appreciate our relationship with ACPT, and that includes the pleasant and helpful office staff.

Dr. Maggs and crew fixed a major hip length disparity so I can no walk without feeling like Igor. My other issue was chronic muscle spasticity which was due to past surgeries and other issues that are better suited for Erin's modality of therapy. This type of therapy nothing like the deep tissue massages or myofascial work I was used to. In fact, I couldn't discern what Erin was even doing since this is a light touch therapy. Right when I was thinking I may have wasted my money, I had muscle adhesions releasing in the area she was focused on, but also on the opposite side of my body and then all over. It was surprisingly effective and she had me sold halfway through my first session. She also offers small affordable packages at a discount. For those paying out of pocket like myself, this was like the cherry on top of a supreme banana split sundae. Erin is a true healer and I just found myself nodding my head when she told me she used to be a RN. She has a passion for healing and helping others that really shines through and just adds the wonderfully welcoming environment at Dr. Magg's office. I must also say that their scheduling app is both extremely easy to use, and such a time saver.
