We already had a photographer booked which is why we only booked for videography. Raymond and his team are wonderful to work with. Communication was smooth and effortless. We received our videos a little over a month after the wedding. It was a quick turnaround! We absolutely love all the videos. A worthwhile investment 100%! Thank you so much Passion Studio team for capturing our special day. Thanks to you, we can look back and watch the films to remember our wedding day forever and ever!

Long overdue review, but in short, Passion Studio is AMAZING!!! I've worked with Raymond and his…read moreteam twice; the first time with me being a bridesmaid and I was already blown away by their professionalism. We decided to book them for my own wedding 7 months later, and we're so glad we did. They showed up (early) with their crew ready to go, knew exactly what to do and where to go, and gave great guidance to everyone in our wedding parties on how to pose (most of us were pretty awkward in front of the camera). I'm a type A bride who would stress out about a million things on our wedding day, but they are the type of vendors that I trust enough to fully leave the matter in their hands. Shout out to Raymond who went out of his way for us throughout our wedding, and time and time again went the extra mile to make sure everything was captured to perfection. The turnaround time was 3 weeks. We loved our photo album, and all the elderlies were raving about the photos! We're just so grateful for this amazing team and would highly recommend them. Just book- you'll be in good hands.

I've been following Tra's work for a while. She is very popular photographer that several of my…read morefriends have hired for their weddings. When I was considering newborn photos, I knew I wanted to work with her. We met Tra at her home studio. My husband and I were super comfortable with Tra right from the start. She was incredibly patient working with our newborn. We had a Star Wars theme we wanted and Tra helped us get several shots for that theme. We left the rest up to Tra's creative freedom and it was fun seeing how she managed to get her shots with the props she has. Tra is absolutely gifted at what she does. I always feel awkward with photos but appreciated how she directed my body so it would be more flattering. She gave us tons of photos to narrow down for edits and we loved how they turned out. If you're looking to do portraits, I highly recommend working with Tra!

We found her through a recommendation from a friend while searching for a photographer for our wedding in Sacramento, and we couldn't be happier with our choice! Tra's photography style immediately stood out to us, and working with her was an absolute joy. It can feel intimidating and awkward being in front of the camera, but Tra made it so much fun and comfortable with her bubbly personality and great sense of humor. She truly has a way of putting you at ease. She was incredibly responsive to our texts and emails, and worked within our budget without compromising on quality. The package we chose also came with a complimentary engagement shoot, which allowed us to work with Tra twice before the big day. The engagement and wedding photos were absolutely breathtaking. Tra has an incredible eye for detail, and her ability to capture genuine moments was impressive. We were also amazed by the quick turnaround time--she even sent us sneak peeks! If you're looking for a talented, professional, and personable photographer, Tra at Two Twenty Photos is the one to go with. We are so glad we chose her to capture our special day! We booked Maddy for our Berkeley, CA wedding (she travels!) and couldn't be happier! My wife is…read moreparticualry picky when it comes to photos as an amateur photographer herself, and Maddy was highly adept at capturing both posed and candids in a way that really showed off our venue and our attendees in a lovely light. She was also highly communicative throughout the planning process and helped ensure our highly ADHD wedding party got through all of our photos before sundown. We're very grateful for all she did!

I don't usually write reviews (positive or negative) but I feel compelled to share my experience…read morewith Maddy. While her websites are filled with 5-star ratings, my perspective differs. I hired her for both an engagement photoshoot and our wedding day. We loved the engagement shoot, but we were very disappointed with her performance and behavior on the wedding day. Before writing this review, I reached out to Maddy privately to discuss my concerns, as she requested that they be submitted in writing. Despite her promise of a one-business-day turnaround, I didn't hear back for two weeks. When I followed up, she stated that my feedback gave her anxiety and that she was avoiding reading it. Her eventual response included a lengthy list of excuses and defensiveness without a genuine apology. Moreover, her tone felt somewhat rude and dismissive, which only added to my disappointment. To summarize, Maddy arrived 45 minutes late to my wedding and did not take accountability for this, attributing it to traffic, getting lost, and trouble reaching the planner. I would have appreciated an apology, regardless of the circumstances, but I still have not received one. Maddy was aware that it was crucial for us to take all our group photos before our ceremony so we could enjoy our cocktail hour - sadly, her late arrival and the last-minute scramble to find suitable locations meant this couldn't happen. Upon her arrival, Maddy seemed visibly upset and maintained a negative attitude throughout the day, so much that others in my wedding party and some of my guests took notice. At one point, my planner asked her to extend her time by 45 minutes due to her late arrival, which seemed reasonable given that I had paid for a set number of hours. I later learned that she reacted poorly to this request and stormed off in tears, which I found unprofessional and unacceptable. When I asked her about this later, she denied crying but confirmed that she firmly told the planner she would not extend her time. Throughout the wedding day, there was little to no direction from Maddy regarding positioning and poses, which was a stark contrast to our engagement shoot. Additionally, I provided a detailed shot list ahead of time at her request; she chose not to use this, leading to several missed family photos I specifically wanted. Many of the images in my wedding gallery are unfocused or missed key moments, (i.e. our first dance dip only captures the back of my husband's head). There are also noticeable height differences in various group photos that could have been minimized with some positioning guidance. Overall, there are some photos that I do love and plan to frame, so I am grateful for that. Ultimately, I believe Maddy wasn't the right choice for our special day. I acknowledge her talent as a photographer--after all, that's why I hired her--but the level of unprofessionalism she displayed had a significant impact on what was supposed to be the most important day of my life. A wedding is inherently stressful, especially for the bride, and it's important to feel that your vendors are professional, engaged, and genuinely happy to be there. For the reasons stated above, I cannot recommend Maddy Godt photography to future brides and sincerely hope Maddy can learn from this experience in the future.
