After vetting several roofing companies I decided on McClung Roofing as they presented as fairly priced, accommodating, happy to answer all of my questions and had superb communication. The point person for the consult, Jesse, was was wonderful to work with and elicited a lot of confidence in the company. Once the job began the crew proceeded efficiently and it was clear that the company was well run. We did experience a snafu mid install, an over site of one of the employees, which was discovered over the weekend..... The owner John McClung, personally cut his trip short to come to my home immediately to address the issue. He was very willing to take responsibility and took measures to rectify the situation both within the company and fixed the problem with no costs to me. John, personally came to my home several times to insure my satisfaction and went above and beyond to support my progress in several ways. The true test of of a company's success is not always having the most employees, lowest price or fastest results, but in having the most integrity, professionalism, and customer's confidence, especially in the face of unexpected difficulties. My initial instincts about the company held true and I'm very happy with the final results, the capabilities of his employees, and the the integrity that John McClung demonstrates as a business owner.

This fellow is terrific. Can do just about anything and superbly too. Robert (ably supported by his son) fixed two gates that had not been working properly, assembled a chair, TV stand, and birdbath, got our old TV working properly again, affixed two large mirrors and a clock to the walls, and precisely measured, placed our pictures and artwork throughout our new home. He's intelligent, professional, super kind and understanding, and charges an acceptable amount. Can't say enough about Robert other than we're glad he's out there because we know we'll need, want to use him again! In fact, we just thought of two things.

They came less than two after looking at what we wanted done, less than a week after our area received 2"-3" of snow. They were careful making sure our house and fence were not damaged at all, removing all brush and limbs, and hauling away the large logs created by the trees. They did an excellent job cleaning up before they left, and did not leave until they made sure everything was taken care of and we were completely satisfied. No big problem, things happen, I understand. Two days later they resume and complete taking the tree down. However, they didn't remove the two trunks until days later. Also, the lawn was unnecessarily damaged by his backhoe carrying branches unnecessarily over large stretches of my lawn instead of utilizing the driveway nearby. They also dropped many logs onto my lawn resulting in many holes or divets that needed to be repaired by me. However, the worst part was the stump removal, or I should say lack thereof. I've included photos of what Brian repeatedly said was a sufficient removal of the stump. You be the judge. I didn't see this initially because the whole area was covered in stump grindings and assumed the stump underneath was gone. Brian is a smooth talker who will promise everything and deliver very little.
