Small trees and plants were carefully removed and returned. Good amounts of compost and mulch were added for the beauty and health of the garden. Most of all Bill et.al., "got" me and provided a lovely haven to return to at the end of my work day. Everyone was pleasant and dedicated. They exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended.

The result was more than I thought I would get; it is rare these days for contractors to go beyond the expected. Every person on the crew had a lot of knowledge of the complex job (excavating, drainage systems, general engineering), so no one was there just as labor. The crew was courteous and explained everything along the way. Hire these guys. You will be pleased.

Drue removed the railroad ties and installed a stone wall to line the patio. It was done really well, so we hired them again this year for a larger project. Our back yard has a slope of nearly 30 degrees and was covered with grass that needed constant attention. We hired Drue to install two 100 foot long stone walls to terrace the upper portion of the yard, remove invasive English ivy, and regrade to remove all the existing grass. They also removed several overgrown trees and a dead tree and installed new plants. This was a really big job that took three weeks to complete. We are extremely happy with the result. The project was completed under budget and Drue, Brittany, and their entire crew were terrific to work with. I highly recommend Sokol Landscaping.

We replaced a failing uneven brick sidewalk, patio, and front porch with beautiful flagstone. A small, collapsing railroad tie retaining wall was also replaced with a stone wall, and all of our outdoor drainage was replaced and rerouted. The result looks like a magazine cover! This project has added a huge amount to our home's value, and we couldn't be happier with the way it went.

We were impressed with H2H at every stage of the project and thrilled with the results. They nailed every measure of success. They listened to what we wanted and clearly reflected our priorities and constraints in their proposal, detailed design and estimate. They exemplified professionalism, attention to detail, quality of work, clear communication and delivered on schedule and on budget. The few changes were mostly due to our requests. Any variations from the original plan/estimate were transparently discussed, approved by us, and tracked, so there were no surprises in the final invoice. We did our homework. We got 2 other proposals from well-established companies and 2 independent general contractors, in addition to H2H, before selecting H2H as the best value for the money. Their costs were more in line with our expectations and the owner, Tim Magee, was excellent to work with. He inspired great confidence that they could and would do this right and the project leads and crews delivered as promised!! Based on the stellar results, Heart to Home just started remodeling our primary bathroom!

Despite many challenges (Pandemic, labor shortage, on-the-spot changes that we wanted) Shelly and her team totally delivered. Shelly went above and beyond to meet with us frequently live or via video conference and get a total understanding of what we wanted at our house. The results are visually spectacular, completely natural looking to the land and highly functional. Hurricane Fred was a big test and our new landscape drained appropriately! The patios where we grill and enjoy a fire pit are stunning, the walkways are perfect, the retaining walls are natural, sturdy and strong and the plantings are spectacular. And at our request they gave us plenty of areas to play in the dirt!! We couldn't be more satisfied and based on the work of competitors that we see in our neighborhood, it is very clear that we chose wisely!! We would HIGHLY Recommend Snow Creek, Shelly McKinney, and the crew of Rodrigo, Jordan, Montana, Guillermo, Allen and others! THANK YOU!

Unfortunately this company did not live up to the reviews posted on Yelp. They said they would…read morestart work in the Spring but wouldn't give me a start date and kept saying that the weather was too cold. They finally finished on 6-18-2024. They presented a plan for landscaping our property but what they promised and what they delivered couldn't have been more different. From the outset I told Shelly that I wanted shrubs that would bloom in 3 seasons. Now, 28 months later, none of them has ever bloomed and one of them died. They trimmed one of our rhododendron bushes and it also died. The project cost $11,176.80 and there was no hardscaping involved. Shelly started-off pleasant and helpful but as time went on she became testy. When I raised the issue she apologized, but nothing changed. They offer a 1-year guaranty on the shrubs and plants, but it often takes 2 seasons before shrubs bloom. By then it was too late to invoke the guaranty. I cannot recommend this company. Please note that the last review was dated in November of 2019. I guess that should have been a red flag. I also never asked for references. Those are mistakes I will not make again. One other thing of note: I visited their property and never saw any plants or shrubs. I suspect that they buy the plants from other nurseries, mark them up and install them. Beware!
