Rude and unhelpful…read more Years ago, when I was a fresh college graduate just entering the workforce, I applied for a job through this agency. It was listed as an "Entry Level" job, and I had all the requirements, except it was asking for at least 2 years of experience. . .for something they called "Entry Level". Well, I applied for it anyway, thinking that maybe asking for years of experience on an "entry level" position was a typo. I got a phone call from them back about an hour after I submitted the application online. . .wanting to know where my 2 years of experience were. I explained that I was a new college graduate, but I was applying to the "Entry Level" position. I then got screamed at and chewed out by a representative of Judy's Staffing Services who angrily told me that "they are called requirements for a reason" and "don't waste my time applying to jobs you don't meet the requirements for, it's clear you won't get a job since you can't follow instructions." I asked how someone was supposed to get years of experience before even applying to an "Entry Level" position. The answer I got was "Not my problem." Besides the nonsense of posting an "Entry Level" opening that required literally years of experience, taking the time to call an applicant to scream at them and insult them was staggeringly unprofessional. Even years later, I clearly remember the hostile and unprofessional attitude I got when dealing with this agency.

I would like to point out that my review is in line with the general consensus here and that I don't believe there is any grand conspiracy of internet trolls or competitors colluding to take down some business that's on life support anyway. Instead, maybe it's possible that this is a terrible company that did a terrible thing. This is without question one of the most poorly run staffing companies I've ever seen. They tout their over-inflated sense of professionalism and expertise to get people in the door while displaying juvenile levels of both. They only "recruit" for a handful of companies, meaning the jobs they have are few and far between. What they lack in clients, they make up for in arbitrary skills testing and baseless over-promises. Take everything they tell you with a MOUNTAIN of salt because they will string you along with promises of non-existent positions in hopes that you find something else and move on without leaving a bad review. Management is a joke with a bad punchline made up of equal parts ineptitude, self-importance and general shadiness, and is well on its way to permanently shutting the doors of Judy's. They have recently relocated to another office building (presumably because they couldn't make rent in their old building) where they will most likely fade deeper into obscurity. You'll have better luck on Indeed, Monster, Craigslist, or going to one of the many staffing companies in Lexington who actually know what running a successful, profitable business looks like.

I did a lot of work for these people. Their "office recruit" person would always pretend to be on…read morethe phone or leave her desk when I came in. But times have been tough, so I was relegated to the manual labor department. Just perfect for someone with 35 years of experience in Accounting and 2 Bachelors Degrees. I did my work. The last job I did for them became just unbearable. The supervisor there just harassed me relentlessly so I came back at him. I KNEW Tom Braker would do nothing to support me so I contacted the owner of the company myself and let him know there was illegal treatment toward employees going on. I also called Tom, who lied, as usual, and said he would handle the situation. That was on a Friday. The next Monday, I got a call from Tom Brakers wife, Lynn Braker, the owner of this franchise of Remedy. She basically assumed that I had NOT Tom about being harassed. When I corrected her on that, she told me if I posted anything on Facebook, I would not be working anywhere, ever. Lynn Braker is a greedy bully. And incompetent. Just like her husband Tom, who never apologized for not paying me, more than once. This place is absolutely horrendous. And the conditions are sweat shop conditions. This week I got a request from Tom Braker (the Same Tom Braker) to rent an 11 bedroom home in Florida for a vacation. What kind of employee recruiter tries to make money off an employee he underpaid, didn't pay AT ALL, and allowed to be threatened, harassed, and abused??? STAY AWAY!!!!
