I spent 30 minutes handcuffed in the back of a police car while my son who is autistic was left to stand on his own. I found it traumatic as my son is very vulnerable & never goes out alone. I couldn't see him properly as the car windows were steamed up. I left a review about my experience at the shop. I have started a formal complaint to O2. Same to the police, grabbing & dragging me was assault no matter their uniforms. Was told at the shop i needed passport or a driving licence. Told them passport out of date they said bring it anyway. I received a notification again from O2 telling me to collect my phone. Being unwell i couldn't go so i asked a friend to yesterday. They took my passport & their driving licence. They were patient and not pushy at all, I didn't feel under pressure to buy at all. When I did return to make a purchase it was 10 minutes before closing time and they still stayed and were patient and helped me, without trying to hurry me.

I was quite suprised at the relative lack of phones on display in the shop. I would have thought that they would have had the place bursting with phones so that you could view them, sample them, use them before you buy etc. Their seems to be a high number of staff in this shop considering it is very rarely busy. The staff almost certainly work to commision so if they get a sniff of you coming into the shop to buy something, they will be on you like a pack of wild dogs, trying to 'help you', sway you and almost plead with you to buy something. This is something I hate. The location of the shop is good. It is on St Helens high street of shops so you cant miss it as you stroll around town. If you know what your after then I would recommend going into the shop and trying to haggle a deal. Their keeness to flog you pretty much anything is that you may be able to negotiate a better deal, extra minutes, a free gift etc. Of course, any orange customer will get 2-4-1 at the cinema with the orange wednesdays offer.
