(i) I really hope the mobile phone shop industry does not completely disappear. This is because:
When I come to the end of my contract, they ring me up and start offering me new handsets (apparently that's what phones are called) with all sorts of numbers after it and loads of statistics relating to it, which they cite to me as if they should mean something to me, and as if I should be excited at the prospect of receiving such a handset that I have never heard of and should be very grateful indeed to Craig from T-Mobile for ringing me up and offering me this excellent opportunity. A Sony Erricosn T770iX5462 does not mean anything to me! I want to see it physically! I want to hold it! A 5 million megapixel camera does not mean anything to me! I want to try it first! You mugs. So anyway that's why we need mobile phone shops.
(ii) I really hope mobile phones shops that are not specifically affiliated to one network, i.e. Orange, O2, T-Mobile, do not completely disappear. This is because:
I want to be told what the best option is, not why O2 is much better than Orange. I know that I can go across the road and be told why Orange is better than O2. I am not stupid. Also, I don't even care which is better. If my phone rings people when I dial their numbers I will be happy. Also, you're just a member of staff earning minimum wage, why are you battling heart and soul trying to make me believe in Orange. Orange doesn't care about you little worker.
