I was home all last summer and decided to get a membership. I am so glad I did! I took full advantage of all the fitness classes they offered, including spinning, yoga, zumba, body pump, kettle bell, kick fit, and some others! I always left with a sweat and empty water bottle. Not only does this place have great classes, but they also have a lot of cardio machines. I usually never had a problem getting the treadmill or step machine that I wanted. They have so many! But wait! There's more! They also have a cafe, a tanning bed, a childcare center, and two saunas. All of these are great additions to the building and make the membership worth it (Note that the tanning bed is an additional cost to the membership). I can honestly say that now that I am back in Indy, I really miss this as my every day gym. If you are living in Richmond for several months, I would highly recommend getting a membership. It is worth it!

I can't believe this gym isn't on Yelp! This is a really great facility that feels like a "big…read morecity" gym in our little Richmond! It's in a remodeled building and has abundant equipment, weights and an unbelievable class schedule (spinning, Zumba, pilates, etc..) that has to be seen to be believed. Unlike some other gyms in this area, the fitness classes are included with your monthly membership fee. The gym is always clean, the staff and instructors always friendly. It also has 24 hour access if you purchase a keycard for ten dollars. Worth it if you're a late-night or early-morning type of fitness freak. Also key is the childcare option which makes it so easy to be able to work out - no more excuses! Childcare is a $4 per visit (for 3 hours) or a flat $30 per month which is totally worth it if you're going 3-4 times a week. Not ready to join? First visit is free and there is also a pay-per-visit option which is a very affordable $5 per visit. Overall the best fitness facility in all of Richmond, they have an off-site swimming pool that I haven't been to so I can't comment on that. Also connected to the Cycling Fitness Warehouse which has bikes and biking gear. You have to check out their webpage to really appreciate this facilty.

The staff is extremely friendly, supportive, and eager to assist should you have any questions. You can see the passion each trainer has for their job. They want to see you go beyond your goals. The membership cost is extremely reasonable as well as their personal training options. They have regular business hours when staff is available as well as 24/7 access for members. All in all, I would highly recommend checking out Big Rob's Fitness. You won't regret it!

My biggest issue with this location is that I was told I could not have my backpack on the floor with me. It is policy that no bags are allowed on the floor. In my bag, I keep my weight lifting gloves, braces, and straps. I also keep my medical supplies as well in case of asthma attack or diabetic emergency. So I went ahead and took my bag outside and then noticed 2 other guests with their bags on the floor. They never said anything to them, even after I said something about it. Don't hold a guest to a standard you don't hold your customers too. Mom is canceling her membership now.

We went there for a meet and greet with Santa and a pancake breakfast that was put on by the Boy Scouts. While we were there there was a game going on on the floor. Girls basketball. We ended up paying at the door $10 each and really didn't need to because we weren't going to the basketball game we were only going around to the back to see Santa. Oh well I'm sure they can use the cash. Lots of pretty cool mementos in the gym.
