Great skatepark, but there are problems... First of all, WAY…read moreto many little kids getting on the way. It is almost impossible to have a good line without kids being in the way. They most of the kids just don't know the flow of the park. There is some concrete damage, but not too much in the way. Here is what the park has: A hip, a half pipe section, a snake run, ledges, hubbas, stair sets and more. The best thing is TWO bowls. Okay so the first bowl is really beginner friendly, as it has a roll in into the bowl but it is a little steep. Also has drop in into the bowl that is steep but not complete VERT steep. The next bowl is big and giant. Overall, I recommend going to this park, but try to go early or late to avoid kids.

I've never seen such active wildlife in a neighborhood park and the animals are accustomed to people. Very friendly it almost felt like a movie the way the animals interacted with us. Made for a very fun walk for sure with deers, squirrels, and lizards about. The trails offer plenty of shade from the Texas sun which is necessary. Will be back!

Shout out to Urban Run Club for introducing me to the park! I love that they have air pumps, a pool, and other amenities. I wish that there was more water fountains along the trails though. I do appreciate how clean the park is and everyone is friendly around the trails. It is dog-friendly, I bring my dogs here every Saturday and they love it. It's a great place for a long walk with your dogs. Beware of the deer or deer dung in the grassy areas. Also, they only have porta-potties.

But I will say that this place is very deceiving from the videos and pics that were previously reviewed. This is a small park; please don't expect more. There is unique parts the park and that's cool but the flow of the park is really just 1 or 2 directions that's all. If this is the only park you know then I'm sure you make the best of the situation but if you've been to other parks in Austin and the surroundings areas then you know what I'm saying. This park is shake-able of course but the luster does die down fairly quickly. To compare it to another small skatepark, the park on well branch; small but the flow of the park is really nice with an A-frame on one side and a nice stair set on the other side, mellow U-shaped bowl in the middle to carve back into the half pipe, with roll in's on both sides of that. That park is one of the better smaller parks, but so much you can do to have a great expertise for hours. This park doesn't hold up to that...unless you truly love transition. That's where this park gets its glory back, the transition here is pretty unique and seems to be fun and spacious enough to have a bunch fun.
