The boat was clean, comfortable, and perfectly warm even with the breeze on the water. It's not every day you get to combine luxury, adventure, and pure relaxation all in one, but, what truly made the day unforgettable was the amazing service. Huge shout-out to Kyle - he was fantastic! Super friendly, incredibly knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to make sure we were having a memorable experience for my friends bachelorette party. Do not be discouraged by the other ratings on this site, I highly, highly recommend and think this is the perfect addition to any plan in San Diego. It will create a lifetime memory. Plus you get to see Sea Lions on your way out!

When we first arrived, most of us needed to use the restroom (since there isn't one on the boat), and the girl working at check-in seemed a bit annoyed by that. However, once we got on the boat, she was totally fine and helpful. A few things to note: someone in your group does have to drive the boat, so plan ahead for that. You can bring your own 21+ drinks as long as they're not in glass containers, and you'll need to bring your own ice. Once you're out on the water, it's pretty lively with lots of other boats and people. We played our own music and just hung out--it was a really fun, chill experience. The two hours definitely go by fast, so keep an eye on the time. They're strict about going over, even by a minute, so we set a timer and started heading back 30 minutes before our end time. Overall, a fun and unique experience we'd recommend!

We were able to…read moreinteract with the birds, feed them, take pictures with them, and simply enjoy their presence and cheerful chirping. There were many different varieties of birds, and each one added to the experience. My partner and kids had a wonderful time, and we especially loved the beautiful koi pond as well. It was a peaceful, fun, and unique outing for the whole family. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys birds and wants a more interactive experience with them. One thing to keep in mind is that visitors are not allowed to hold or pet the birds. However, you can feed them, and if they choose to land on your arm, that's perfectly okay. One of the birds even hopped onto my son's arm, which was a highlight of the visit! Overall, a fantastic experience that we would happily do again.

Located in Del Mar near the festival, if your eyes are peeled open, it can be quite easy to miss. There's a few parking spots available. I came at 10am to see if I can register and walk in right away. They told me to come back at 11am. So I went across the street for a drink and then returned. It was a neat experience. You walk in and use hand sanitizers and get the instructions. If you're not a member you can handle the birds directly. You get a bowl of food and later can circle back to feed the fish. Some birds are outside their cages which is fun and you get some nice photos with them. The ones who ate from my bowl seemed to only really want the apples. The bowls had a mixtures of fruits and vegetables. The ones in the cages they tell you not to take out. Why? Don't know. Flight risk? For 15 bucks a person, it was a nice way to spend a hour and hear why some birds are the way they are (you'll have to ask the workers there why and they'll gladly share stories otherwise it's mostly a independent stroll through the sanctuary). Memberships are available if interested.

They have two different miniature golf courses to choose from, which is nice if you want to come back and try a different one another time. The prices are great. I believe we paid around $13 per person for one course, which felt very reasonable. Even though there were quite a few people playing, we never really had to stop and wait for the groups ahead of us. The course had some really fun holes, and the weather was perfect - beautiful outside with a nice breeze. Once you finish, you can simply drop your putter off at the window, so the whole process is quick and easy. They also give you a loyalty card that gets stamped each time you play, and I believe after five visits you earn a free game, which is a nice little bonus. Overall, this was an affordable, easygoing, and really fun way to spend the afternoon. I would definitely come back and try the other course!

We came back to celebrate a year later, and it was still pretty great just a lot more crowded, which makes sense bc it was a Friday vs Saturday. There was a private party with a lot of people in the group which slowed down the flow of the mini golf rounds. The different holes were cool with different challenges/obstacles, and they were fun to compete against each other with. ---- Notes: - Plenty of parking - Drinks and food available to purchase - There's also a driving range there near the mini golf course ---- Pricing: - Adult 18 holes: $13 - Adult 36 holes: $19.50 - Military 18 holes: $11 - Military 36 holes: $16.50 - Kids/Seniors 18 holes: $10 - Kids/Seniors 36 holes: $15 ---- Overall: a great place for a date or just for fun, reasonable pricing, does get busy on the weekends, I'd recommend going on the weekdays!
