Ok here's the catch, (which I caught onto REAL quick) you pay $200 upfront, they either find you a spot within 90 days or they're refund you $150. So regardless if they find you a spot or not their fee will be either $50 OR $200 BUT they "hold onto" the money for 90 days regardless". Um, NO. Not gonna happen. When I asked how they took payment they said cash or credit/debit but their "machine is down". HAHA YEA OK! Then to make things worse, he never once said his name until we shook hands at the end. I was scanning the place and all "policies" were printed off regular paper?! They said they've been in business for a year at the location. Really?! Then why aren't their signs or business cards with your name on it instead of looking like you made them at home? They didn't even have a name on them! Just the business name And number. They would come to our property without 24 hours notice to have the bank and city inspector do the property inspection the day after Thanksgiving. He told me I was responsible for transferring my deposit over from one owner to the next when that should've been resolved during escrow. We split the utilities with our neighbors because the house was a duplex. He refused to provide copies of the bills. He waited four months to have the water and trash transferred even though we asked for it from the beginning of the year. Then he contacted us with one day notice to pay the bill and threatened to evict us if we didn't pay the bill. We have had no screens on the windows, exposed electrical, vermin infestations, and other problems we've reported several times. He never separated our mailing addresses abd was hen we contact him he refuses to respond My last call was to report several power outages and problems with the electrical. His response was to cuss me out and threaten me. I ended up blocking his number. Miguel definitely needs to educate himself in California tenant rights. He has no business signing a lease as a property manager when he doesn't do the work and know legalities. And to cuss me out and threaten me is just unprofessional.

I was very surprised and happy that the process only took about 6 weeks as I have friends whose mortgage refinance process took at least 4 months to complete. At the beginning of my refinance process, I was shopping around and had also requested a quote at Loan Depot (LD) for my refinance (since another friend of mine referred me to his friend that is a manager there), and I absolutely despised talking to the rep that they had assigned me there. The LD rep would lose his patience when I asked questions about things I didn't understand and became not helpful when he realized that I would not sign a contract or move forward with him the afternoon he first called. He was extremely pushy and wanted to get things started right away even though it was right before the holidays. I didn't think I would be able to finish the process before year's end, so his urgency just didn't sit well with me. The moment that solidified my decision to go with Ammy and Top Leading Financial over LD was how both parties responded to me when I informed them I was shopping around. While LD was very quick and able to provide me a quote right away on our first call and Ammy informed me she would send me a quote the next day, the LD rep became aggressive in his response towards me as to why Ammy was not able to provide me a quote right away when he was able to, as if I had the answer.
