We were…read morelooking for a bigger home in a good school district, shorter commute to work, and a convenient location for my elderly parents to live in. We are super super lucky to find Margaret as our listing and buying agent!! Here's why! A year ago I found Margaret's marketing page on facebook and was impressed by how she marketed and promoted her listings. We connected and discussed. We kept in touch. In early 2022, we decided it's time to take a further step. Margaret gave us great recommendations. She came out to visit our house and did an interview. She was so patient and listened to our needs and expectations. She explained the market condition and shared how the process of selling and buying a house will be. In about a week, we collaborated, cleaned and staged the house while Margaret did a detailed market research of my area. She hired a professional photographer for the pictures used on the listing web page. Our listing was outstanding with attractive images which drew so much online traffic!! It became the HOT HOME on Redfin! During the open house, she kept us informed of any updates and potential buyers. After 3 days of open house, we received many offers. She performed amazing negotiation skills to help us push to an amazing price. Our house was sold in a month, breaking the sold price record in my area! During the entire escrow, Margaret was very transparent and reported to us any update and concerns. She shared lots of suggestions that guided us through the stressful process and made the right decision. Now onto house hunting! Knowing our home was sold, we were eager to start looking for our new house in this crazy market. We were very anxious about how to bid for a house. Margaret, again, demonstrated fabulous real estate knowledge in every step of the way from research, writing an aggressive offer, negotiating terms and contingency, and following up with different parties. Most importantly, we focused on finding houses that were within our budget! After 6-7 offers, we got our offer accepted in just a month after our house was sold. The new home has everything we wanted plus more!! We are now in our new home escrow. Margaret continued to show leadership and give us tons of guidance to ensure we will close the house smoothly and on time! Nevertheless, Margaret is one of the few real estate agents that put your needs as the first priority and cared about your case! On top of being an amazingly talented real estate agent, she is honest, transparent, humble, stays on top of everything, an expert in communication, negotiation, marketing, and many more! She exceeded our expectations and we are so happy and can't wait to start our new chapter of life in our new home!!! I trust her and will definitely hire her again for our next home!!!

He informed me of his company wanting to sell the home. He then presented me with a notice to vacate the premises after 60 days. It was not until the next day that I was informed that Mr. Wallace was none other than my deceased landlords brother in law. I think that speaks volumes towards the character of Mr. Wallace. I should have told him that it had been mere hours earlier that I and another tenant had been attempting CPR on David. But I doubt that would have meant anything to a person of his ilk.     Let me start off by saying, me and my wife hand picked Joel based off of his amazing Yelp reviews,…read moremaybe that was our mistake. We reached out to him with a few places that we wanted to see. He got back to us in a timely manner and told us there were no showings yet for some of the homes. We sent him some more that we wanted to see, and Sunday was our first time meeting him in person. We met him at a new construction build, and me and my wife were pretty excited. Yes, we were three minutes late, we can take responsibility for that. We got out the car and approached Joel, who was waiting by the front. Mind you this is our first time meeting, and he never formally introduced himself. He said our names to make sure it was us, but that was it. There was no "Hi, nice to meet you," or "Hi, how are you, I'm Joel." It seemed as if he didn't care who we were and that we were going to be his clients. We never had a formal sit down to discuss the process, what we were looking for, or asked if we had any questions. We never even got a business card from him, but he was sure quick to leave them at every place we saw. Once we started viewing the homes, me and my spouse were talking amongst ourselves about the things we liked and didn't like. We aren't picky but we would like a few things. He never asked what we wanted or did we like any of the properties. Once we found one that property that he suggested, he didn't even ask how we liked it. He just told us the next step is to put our names on the list and fill out the required paperwork. He definitely wasn't big on small talk at all. It seemed as if he just wanted to get rid of us, and he had other places to be. He didn't even TRY to get to know us personally. If you can't build rapport with your clients, why should the clients trust you enough to buy a home with you? First impressions are everything and this first impression sucked. While we were looking at one property that we really liked, the sales rep was in the office with another client after we came back. Joel told us we could go see the other model while we waited. We came back and he was having a long conversation with another realtor there. He saw us and continued on with his conversation. He never asked us how we liked that one or what we thought. Just kept talking away and never said a word to us. He talked to this guy more than he talked to us! At the end of this visit, Joel said the next step is to fill out the paperwork to get on the list with the builder and then he said goodbye. Excuse me but how did YOU know we really even liked the place? Don't think you're about to get a pay out for 5 minutes of work. If we are going to have to know you for the next 6 months while waiting for the home to be built, you better treat us like you give a crap about us. Let me tell you, Joel suggested ONE property to us. He never sent a list of other available listings or did any of the leg work. We found the places and all he did was meet us there. We didn't have any appointments or anything. The people in the sales offices spoke to us more than he did. We don't need a "communicator," we can talk to people ourselves. I even waited to tour places, so that Joel could receive the commission, because a realtor needed to be present on the first visit. He didn't talk about any of the properties or what was included. I'll say this, there's many real estate agents in the area, we definitely don't need you if you don't care. This was going to be a for sure sale using the VA loan, but someone else will meet our needs. We are also NOT first time home owners, so we do know what to expect when it comes to a realtor and what good customer service is. Would not recommend him, unless you're searching for your second million dollar home in the Inland Empire. He just wants the easy money and does not care about the client.
