Paul McCartney's concert last month was the first time my sister and I ever saw a concert or show…read moreat the Alamodome :) ! His concert was absolutely PHENOMENAL :D !! We wouldn't have expected anything less from a Beatle, rock legend, and musical genius :) ! The concert itself was definitely worth 5 stars all the way :D !! We were told that this was the first time in 32 years that he performed at the Alamodome, ever since he first christened its opening in 1993 :D ! We were grateful and relieved that, at least, the VIA shuttles around town were available as paid transportation options to go to and from the concert. Otherwise, it would have been a nightmare to get to and from the venue! We have been to some venues before where there were no good transpiration options, and the only option was to drive and park yourself. But fortunately, the Alamodome has the VIA shuttle option, which is very much like the Park & Ride option I was used to before for the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. There is a designated area for Rideshare options like Uber and Lyft. But I wouldn't suggest that. Although it can be ok taking Rideshare to the Alamodome, like most big venues, it's a huge pain to get picked up after the concert by Rideshare, unless you leave the concert well before everyone else does. The Alamodome isn't the best concert venue we have been to, but it also is certainly not the worst. We would say it is somewhat in the middle. Once you get dropped off by VIA shuttle, the signs leading up to the Alamodome are pretty straightforward and self-explanatory. However, once you are inside, it can be somewhat confusing to find your seats. I felt like we had to ask at least 3 people how to find our floor seats. And even when we got to the floor, there weren't well delineated signs to follow to our section, row and seat numbers. We found it somewhat odd that yellow chalk was used to write markings on the ground, instead of darker-colored chalk, or clear printed signs (which would have been easier to follow). Our seats weren't the most comfortable, since they were plastic fold-out chairs. But considering we had floor seats, and we could get up and stand anytime, this didn't really bother us, except when we got tired of standing. Like most concert and stadium venues, the food is your typical pricey fast food and drinks. But this is expected since it's a well-known fact that most concert and stadium venues usually don't sell quality food. I would say that the drinks overall are better than the food. Otherwise, we felt that the acoustics were pretty stellar and the concert experience there was still AMAZING :D !!

The atmosphere inside the stadium was electric fans were into it, music was on point, and you could really feel that playoff energy. One of the biggest wins for me was the front row parking super clutch and made the whole night smoother. Drinks were solid (a little pricey, but expected at a game), and the restrooms were surprisingly clean considering how packed it was. On a personal note, I even connected with someone there that could turn into a great business opportunity, so that made the night even more worth it. Only downside was the service. It felt slow and a bit unorganized at times, especially when trying to get attention or place orders. Overall, great vibes, great crowd, and a memorable nighteven walked out with a win on my bet. I'd definitely come back, just hoping the service improves next time.

Home of the San Antonio Spurs! Go Spurs Go! This venue does hold other events such as concerts,…read morecomedy shows, etc. The surrounding area is sketchy and industrial feels and is about 15 minutes away from downtown. Parking on-site varies and starts at $20 and up depending on the event. Traffic does get crazy but the police have it strategical planned well. Very organized! Staff is always friendly and helpful! Plenty of food options and the average stadium pricing. As far as viewing an event, there is a bad seat in the house for the view BUT as you go higher up, the stairs are pretty steep.
