In my experience, the park owner/manager has repeatedly failed to follow through on things he has said he would do. Communication and management have been very disappointing, and I have personally found it difficult to trust his commitments. More than five months ago, the grass surrounding the clubhouse was dug up and a mature shade tree was removed. To this day, the area remains mostly loose dirt and sand. This is especially disappointing because it is essentially the only level area in the entire park where residents can gather and recreate. The clubhouse itself is also very dated, and the exterior appears poorly maintained. It is frustrating to see the condition of the community deteriorate when this park was reportedly much better maintained when the owner's father and grandfather operated it. Based on my experience living here, I would strongly encourage anyone considering purchasing a home in Green Valley to carefully investigate the current management, maintenance, and condition of the park before making a commitment. My experience has been very disappointing, and I would not recommend buying here.

They really need a 7day notice or quit sent to them to update the property cause with the exception of fixing up the roads this one year, I haven't seen or heard about any improvements to the park. The old ass sign in the front with the parks name in my opinion is ugly and understated and in bad need of an update. The park owners (couldnt tell ya their names) also live on site now and they come on your rented space with a rouse about needing to check the water pipes but based on the number of fix it or quits sent out after it is the owners excuse to walk legally onto the property and look all around your house. The owner lady also likes to appear out of the blue with her camera and put it in your face to take pictures of you, your guests, your property, your cars, etc. They ask your guests and roommates questions about who they are, who lives in the house, who drives what, etc. The owner lady also told me "no more guests" but pretty sure.by law I can have as many guests as I want come to my house. So, the rent space is high, the owners dont mesh with me so they are running around taking pics, looking for things to get me evicted and the unfamily.park is horribly outdated. **UPDATE OMG! My car died when I was pulling out and it was.unsafe to jump cuz it was pouring rain. Rain stopped, friend came to jump my car and at the same time owner lady appeared with camera in hand taking.pics of.my car, me walking, my friend, She was yelling at me to move car. She said other stuff but I couldnt understand her thru the thick accent and mask over her mouth cause its April 10th and their is a Pandemic but I am pretty sure it wasn't "Hey, thanks for paying your rent on time even tho 30% of people in the US can't pay their rent right now." Again, I have lived here for 9-years with my husband and daughters. Dont know what to do. Guess I will have to move out. Pure Craziness!

My mother was living in her home at Santiago Estates. From our family's perspective, she was given confusing and misleading information about her housing situation. Rent was accepted, yet she was ultimately locked out of the home she had been living in. What makes this especially upsetting is that my mother is elderly and was dealing with circumstances that made it difficult for her to understand and navigate what was happening. Instead of feeling protected and treated fairly, she ended up losing access to her home. There's so much more to our story and we're happy to share details to anyone else who this has happened too. This was straight up wrong and illegal . This was an extremely stressful and heartbreaking experience for our family. I did some research on what I thought would be the current market value of the home and then began to enlist the help of a Realtor. I spoke with the park management and they referred me to one commonly used Realtor that was heavily used in the park. After my initial meeting with that individual they proposed a selling price $70k below what I thought was the market value. I then came across a Realtor from Advantage Homes, Ms. Cathy Bucalo. She was so extremely helpful through the entire process. Cathy is well versed on the process of buying/selling manufactured homes and has a strong pulse on the market. She instructed me on what needed to be done to the home in order to get the home listed and communicated with me throughout the process. She was instrumental when our first buyer withdrew from the process. She told me to stay focused and the right person will come along. The right buyer did come along shortly thereafter and Cathy orchestrated a deal not just meeting my market value assumption but $29k more than what I had originally thought. If I would have done the quick and easy thing by using the first Realtor I would have missed out on $100k. Cathy was empathic to my situation, determined to sell the property during a pandemic and kept me thinking positively when sometimes things weren't going my way. I would recommend to anyone do some homework on your property and interview prospective Realtors. I am a friend of the managers there. The owner of where Sonya rented in both parks. (Sonya is another reviewer here) told me that she disobeyed all the rules, she damaged the entire place, she had 2 huge dogs(against the rule, you are allowed small dogs) that would bark all day and night and would escape and chase people and other small dogs. She was very confrontational and would call neighbors very bad names and accuse them of things she was doing herself. Therefore she was evicted from both parks. It is obvious why she would be so critical of these parks. When she moved out, there was a party in the park, neighbors were so relieved. Now there is peace!

I had to get the Ways and Means Department involved. I also had to call the police on the Manager, Beverly before because she and her son trapped me in her office and would not let me out.
