The place is a great good food homemade type of Restaurant. The wait staff were friendly. The food, if you like crappy food, don't come here. The food was as good as it looked. I have heard the breakfasts are amazing.

According to Trip advisor this was the #4 best place to eat in Delta. The food was pretty good but the homemade fries needed more salt and to be cooked a little longer. The burger was good no complaints there. The fish and chips were as expected for a diner. The environment was interesting. The waitress' seemed to be friendly with the regulars but at one point one of them expressed loudly that she hopped a guy walking by just wanted a room and not to eat. We never got our drinks refilled and paying was harder than it needed to be.

One of the best servers I've met with cool bell bottoms We fed 7 people for $65 dollars and all were full. If your ever in Delta Utah stop by this place. Fun fact the town was established in 1907

It's like going to grandmas for breakfast. I think my server's name was Flo. In 1968 she had a gigantic beehive hairdo. Food came out fast and hot. Homemade jams. Eggs, bacon, ham, cheese and toasts in 10 combinations. Love it.

I stopped here after a 4.5 hour spine-crushing drive from Lake Powell, AZ on my way to Ely, NV, another 2.5 in the distance. I really just needed to take a dump. McDonald's deserved it but I could tell by the Rancher's sign that the Rancher had the best breakfast in 100 miles or perhaps anywhere. And they did. The waitress reminded me of Flo from the old show Alice - if Flo were still alive in the present day. She asked what type of jam I wanted for my toast. I told her that I just wanted butter. She asked me again, imploring me to try the jam. I got the raspberry and she was not wrong to push me that way. I also had a cup of coffee which I do not usually do without whiskey. My nerves are scattershot as it is. But I needed to jump-start the bowels before the next leg to Ely. As I could feel the argument in my intestines come to a fever, I went to the men's room. You can see from the picture why my next review of Places I Stopped to Take a Dump didnt happen until Ely. If there were no need for a toilet stop, there would be no need for Delta, Utah.

Old school style diner. Rustic interior but clean. Good prices and good food. There's not many options in Delta, but this is the best breakfast in town. Homemade desserts are also available. Diabeetus approved!

This is a review for the cafe. The cafe is everything a small town cafe should be and more. I do not handout 5 start easily. We had two meals here. Both were great. Dining takes place early here. We had dinner at 5:30. If was prime rib night with the fixings. It was an excellent price. Good enough that the pretty much guaranteed overcooked meat (for my preference) that's not top quality was likely to disappoint me. Outside of no horseradish, and an odd looking surface, it was tasty. This is the one restaurant in town with a beer and wine license. We brought a bottle of nice wine from the home cellar. They had no issue serving it for us. It started with a clam chowder that was obviously prepared locally. The pieces of vegetable and potatoes were obviously hand cut. It was fresh tasting. The baked potato was perfectly cooked and loaded with butter and sour creat. The corn, while frozen, was prepared well. All of the servers were friendly. The salad bar was better than expected. The best part was the truly had made pies. We had lemon meringue. The crust perfect. It was not soggy on the bottom at all. It was big lemon flavors. The texture perfect. In the morning we came for breakfast. It was even better than dinner. The bacon was thick, flavorful, and well cooked. The sausage was not some sort of sweet jimmy deans. It was balanced and delicious. The has browns perfectly browned. The eggs properly cooked. I was able to get an english muffin. It was exactly what the chains promise, but never deliver. We're looking for another reason to spend a weekend in Delta as much so we can dine here as anywhere else.

See the bacon? Two minutes before this photo, cucumbers were being chopped right next to that raw bacon. They didn't get cooked.

Cute local place, very popular with the local workers. The food was adequate and they had beer, which was nice.

We originally had the Moonlight suite reserved, but ended up in the Lavender suite instead. Just wow. So beautiful and unique. The king bed is a sleep number so my boyfriend and I each adjusted our own sides to what we liked and it was awesome. There was an attached outside patio with a hammock, the jetted tub was giant for me and my boyfriend to fit in with room to spare (it could fit three people really) and the changing lights and jets just really made it amazing. Seriously the best tub I've ever taken a bath in it was so romantic. They have a huge selection of dvds for the TV in the room as well (I'd say maybe bring a couple of your own, the two we grabbed were empty unfortunately due to past guests having sticky fingers) but Wi-Fi available as well if you wanted to stream anything. We had the entire inn to ourselves on a Saturday night and it was very lovely and quiet. The included breakfast the next day by the owner/hostess Katelon was very nice and she is so knowledgeable about the town and had fun facts/spots to check out when we come back! There is a feeling of serenity to this place, from the calming music they play throughout the inn to the beautiful artwork and plants in every room. I'd definitely recommend anyone passing through or looking in the area to stay, to check it out. Although we didn't partake their spa services looked amazing as well (especially the sauna/yoga workout room!) Overall, an amazing unique experience. Thank you Katelon for everything

Kelsey you were the first smile I received back in January & missed you on my way back this trip. When we pulled in yesterday Ali (Owner) & Dan were on the roof installing this awesomely & artfully designed "Ace's Place" sign. This cafe is next door We proceeded to have a fabulous dinner before heading off to the priceless Red Hill Hot Springs up the street. Our bodies fell into a sweet slumber in comfy bed at the adjacent sweet & historic Monroe Inn! I love Ali's touch, she has thoughtfully remodeled this Inn and added such personal & artistic flair throughout the Inn & Cafe. Ali remembered I wasn't fond of lights at night & unplugged the ones in backyard. Dan is the man who seems to excel at everything including cooking! I wish these hard working folks all the best because they really care. Till next time thank you for an exceptional experience!

We found the chef to be extremely passionate about his cooking and the labor of love that is the Monroe Inn. It seemed like everyone we encountered was passionate about the Inn and the beautiful little town. So many people were working together to make the Inn and its diner just the most relaxing, beautiful, and enjoyable experience. We fell in love with this sleepy little town and can't wait to go back.
