Her experience was one of the most frustrating and disappointing interactions with a physician that our family has ever encountered. Dr. Spearing's bedside manner was consistently poor. He often seemed dismissive of concerns, unwilling to listen, and lacking in basic follow-through. One of the most unbelievable and recurring issues was his habit of leaving the exam room, saying he would return, and then never coming back. This happened so frequently that my mother eventually addressed it directly during an appointment. As he was preparing to leave the room, she told him that he had a habit of saying he would come back and then never returning. His response was, "I promise, promise I'll be right back." He then walked out and never came back. My mother was absolutely stunned. To have that happen immediately after it was brought to his attention was both shocking and incredibly unprofessional. Another incident that raised serious concerns involved blood work. My mother specifically asked about her blood sugar results and was told everything was fine. She later discovered that her blood sugar had not even been tested. Learning that he had provided reassurance about something that apparently had not been checked completely eroded our confidence in the care being provided. There also seemed to be constant turnover among the nursing staff. Nearly every appointment involved a different nurse, making it difficult to establish any consistency or continuity of care. Patients deserve a physician who listens, communicates clearly, follows through on commitments, and treats people with respect. Unfortunately, that was not my mother's experience. She frequently left appointments feeling dismissed, frustrated, and unheard. Based on what our family experienced, I would not recommend Dr. Spearing to anyone seeking attentive, patient-centered medical care.

The office is a step back in time, no fancy waiting room or modern office building. This is as close as your going to get to a "real" small home town doctor. Tiffany is very sweet in scheduling appointments and Petula really makes them feel good by her personal attention and humor. ( and she's very good at drawing blood) Dr. Winegar is a soft spoken caring man that takes a lot of time talking with them and assessing areas of concern. I don't know of too many doctors offices that don't run a little behind by the end of the day, but I know for a fact that treating patients properly is Dr. Winegar's primary concern.

After finding Dr. Steele, I know I can be comfortable with her caring, kind, expert care. She is very thorough and asks all important health questions. It has been three days since our appointment and I have called three times asking for the referral, I even spoke to a supervisor and have never gotten a call back. I worked with Brent for weeks after developing some chronic back pain that developed in to some…read morepretty bad sciatica-like symptoms. I'd had a few doctor visits and an MRI, but still couldn't pinpoint the exact cause. Brent was super patient and careful in trying all kinds of stretches and rotations to try to pinpoint the exact location of the pain and figure out a cause. We learned that the pain was likely caused by my extremely tight leg muscles, irritating my nerve and excessively straining my lower back. He soon taught me really helpful stretches that specifically targeted muscles that I had been neglecting. I was actually shocked at how instantly it relieved my pain (look up piriformis stretches if you've been spending a lot of time sitting). With each visit, we noticed I was quickly regaining my flexibility, and my pain was steadily decreasing.
