    So much more happened but below is a snippet of my experience…read more. IF I COULD TURN BACK TIME...started out fine but ended bad....I would have never purchased this vehicle from Ourisman Tri-State Ford on December 17, 2024. I purchased a 2015 Fiat 500L The salesperson Davier Resto was nice I test drove the vehicle no issues, no check engine lights everything appeared fine. I had a 60 days or 2000 miles warranty which is cool. So fast forward on Decenber 19, 2024 check engine light came on called the dealership spoke to Service Department the service Manager Gabe told me to bring the car in the appointment was for December 21, 2024 and December 21, 2024 change oil light came on my way to my appointment...my car was checked and I was told everything is fine. Also on December 20,2024...I was looking out my window (I live on the 3rd floor)..and I saw a bright yellow paper on the roof of my car. I took a picture so I can zoom in but I couldn't make out what it was so I went down to my car was able to get this bright yellow and red sticker off the roof on my car and the sticker says." THIS Vehicle NOT FOR SALE..SEE THE DEALER FOR RESALE DATE..THIS STICKER MUST REMAIN IN PLACE UNTIL A FEDERAL USED CAR BUYERS GUIDE IS AFFIXED TO THIS VEHICLE" I called Davier Resto and told him about the sticker he stated it's fine we just forgot to remove that sticker. Right then and there this is when I should of returned this car back to them and get my money back. I have been to the dealership like 11 times for issues Vinny Sales Manager was super nice ...other employees was nice but that doesn't make my experience nice .. My check engine light has came on several other times and I have been told it's fine and other issues had to get fixed. They had to send my car to an actual Fiat dealership to get it fixed it was fir other issues because they didn't know how to fix my car. Fast forward to January 23,2026 I had this car a little over a year... I was told I need a new engine which will cost me $11, 384.65 which cost way more than what the car is worth. The Sales Manager said he will make it right...he told me that he will pay off my loan only if I buy a new car with them. Why would I buy another car from this place. Good Customer Service would of just have their mechanics fix the engine cause they knew it was an issue with the car. If the were willing to pay off the loan instead of that just fix the engine. From how nice everyone seem...I am beyond disppointed so now I am still paying on my car...a car I can not drive...the car only have 83,000 miles on it.... All I can say is be extremely cautious with this dealership.....

    I first contacted Mike's shop based on word of mouth about good local family-run auto businesses. I…read morehad passed by this place many times without giving it a second thought. I have a later model Ford Maverick, and up until this point, all service had been performed at the dealer. Knowing that I needed new tires (and not wanting the OEMs), I reached out to Houser's and spoke with Mike, detailing what I wanted. Mike communicated effectively and promptly, and he didn't try to pressure me into something else because he could tell I knew what I wanted. We made an appointment about two weeks in advance, as he had to order the tires from a supplier. Mike managed to find the tires cheaper from a different supplier and even found a rebate for the set from Cooper Tire. Bonus! I arrived about 10 minutes early, and they started about 10 minutes after the appointment, which I didn't think was bad at all. I had set my expectation at 90 minutes out the door. About 80 minutes after the start of the appointment, I was ready to roll. The only thing that made me apprehensive was how packed the lot was and the difficulty finding a spot. As Mike stated to me, if you can get off the road (Baltimore Pike), you are good. Seeing the sea of autos on the lot gave me a little anxiety before I opened the door. I thought, oh no, I am walking into a situation where the shop is slammed and I'm going to be here for 3 hours! However, the fact that I didn't have an extended wait time tells me that Mike is managing everything very effectively. The waiting room was comfortable and empty, but occasionally a customer would come in. Mike dealt with their concerns in a friendly and speedy manner.

On March 14th, 2024, Hauser sold me two Uniroyal Tiger Paw Touring tires for $176 each (they're $99 from Pep Boys, a 177% markup), and I asked them to put them on the FRONT of the car. On August 9th,2024, they charged me $160 to install two tire pressure sensors (they're $20 each, a 400% markup!). During the sensor installation, they put one of the NEW tires on the REAR of the car. They need to look up the term 'ATTENTION TO DETAIL'. Now I have to pay someone else to move the new tire to the front of the car to FIX THEIR WORK. They also scuffed the paint on my truck installing 4 new tires, again at almost 200% markup. Each time I took my vehicles there, I provided written instructions on the service I wanted. They have never done everything I asked for, but they always sold me something I didn't need with a huge markup. Apparently, they're too short sighted to realize that they can only PRICE GOUGE their customers once or twice, then we get smart and find someone who isn't so GREEDY!

    Called about a job, the woman who answered sounds like she doesn't even want to be bothered with…read moreit, which was whatever, I knew these guys do decent work and relatively quick. So I decided to go with it. Dropped off Monday for diagnostic, told her I'd need it back the next day as I have work, she was Overnighting the parts, said that will be fine. Tuesday roughly 2 o'clock in the afternoon I call she said the part was running late, said it would be there "any minute" (i know what that means) and told me it'll be done today she'd give me a call. Never calls. 430 rolls around and I decided let's call again.She tells me it's not done. So I brought up that I was a little confused because she said it could be done today and I still haven't heard whether you guys are going to take a look at my transmission.She proceeded to freak out. Yelling at me. "F*** you motherf*****" and hangs up. Proceeded to play phone tag because she wouldn't speak to me like an adult, just kept hanging up. At this point I'm just confused because I still need my car for work and quite honestly her attitude was terrible from the get go. It's the holidays and I really can't afford to be missing work or dealing with whatever that was to begin with. Told her I'd be there with my dad to get the car. Their hours when you look them up on Safari say 6pm but they're hours are actually 5 pm so unfortunately I was too late. Today at 8 am I basically show up and ask her as calmly as possible what's going on with my car. She explains what I already knew. She then says I'm talking Over her when I didn't even get a word out. I'm just trying to tell her I need the car. I'm not even trying to speak of the situation that happened before as I am going through my own problems as it is and I don't need to be worrying about whatever her problem is. And again she acts like a child tells me to leave and walks out of the room. This is now the 2nd time I'm basically denied my car. She didn't ask me to pay some up front or anything. She was unwilling to hear my situation that I work over 30 minutes away and that I at least needed the car back until my next day off she just kept freaking out. I asked the gentleman behind the counter to explain to me what's been done so i could drive it away as is and I was told to leave by him too. I genuinely don't understand. After this she bursts out the door at me, I'm standing by the front door, have no clue what to do cause I wasn't exactly sure her intentions. After that I just threw my hands up and left. Unfortunately I couldn't get anywhere with non emergency police numbers earlier. I just wanted to leave with my property at that point. I was still willing to pay and did pay when I left but i am now cheated out of a days pay and feel that after this experience it's quite unfortunate that a business is willing to do this to people so close to Christmas time. All I wanted was my car back for like 1 day maybe 2. Never have I dealt with someone so Miserable. So I left, about 930 or so I get a call it's done from someone else. I thanked him for calling me and said I genuinely don't understand what exactly this is for and there she goes, in the background "maybe if you didn't run your mouth " lady, I never said anything rude to you I only said what was true. You ignored me 2 times about my transmission . And the second it became an inconvenience to you, you flipped out. I really just don't know what to say. Only reason I give 2 stars is because I genuinely never had an issue with their work. But I hope and pray that this deters anyone from getting work done on your car here because it seems the second something inconveniences you as a customer they don't care. Or at least she doesn't.

We have all been asked this question, or we have asked it ourselves…read more Well I no longer have to ask, and I won't wait for for people to ask me because I have already started telling everyone I can that Mendenhall's Garage is top notch. I just moved the family to Maryland and we had to take part in their state inspection. I asked around and no one really had a good suggestion of a mechanic, and even more so, most people said the one they went to was a crook. I took a shot in the dark, and Lord Have Mercy I found a great one! Jay did both of my cars and the whole process went super smooth. He did not find anything that I was not aware of and I could not have felt more comfortable with the whole thing. I even had him fix the few things wrong, and his prices were great! Super honest company. I even called other shops, and man, it was insane how much more they wanted for the job than Mendenhall's. I don't even think my review can do it justice, but I just had to let it be known that this company rocks, and I will be bringing my cars back(hopefully not too often), but whenever needed I no longer have to ask around because I got a good mechanic!
