After work and eating dinner,…read moreI looked online for a barber that is open late and found Aarins is open until 8pm and accepts walk ins. I made sure of this before leaving the house at 6:50pm. I arrived at 7:03pm, 57 minutes before closing. When I walked in, there were 3 barbers. 1 who was cutting someone's hair and 2 that were not but we're standing and talking. I asked if there was time for my son's hair cut. The barber cutting hair said he was going to leave after that hair cut. The 2 who were not cutting hair said they would not cut his hair and we're instead going to leave. I said, "oh I thought you were open until 8pm" and then turned to leave. They asked if I'd like to make an appointment for tomorrow. Well, since my son starts school tomorrow, no thanks. After leaving I turned back around and see their hours posted on the door, closes at 8pm. So why are they closing down a full 57 minutes early? I was looking for a new barber for my son who would be his barber for good, for years. Unfortunately, I will not return to this establishment again. We ended up going to great clips who close at 8pm and although there were a couple people ahead of us, they accepted us in. I wanted to support a local business but I guess sometimes chains are the way to go since they don't just decide to close up shop early. I may still be on the search for a new barber but it will not be Aarins.
