KNOWS what he's doing and I recommend him for any cuts for men. I like my hair to be like the characters from the Peaky Blinders, but I'm Asian, so I have to make a 'version' of my own. I went to barbers in Folsom and Fair Oaks and I had such a hard time explaining to the barbers what I wanted. I've been looking for a good barber in Sacramento to understand what I wanted and I finally found him. The one thing that distinguishes Lonnie from the other barbers is that he actually 'listens' to his customers. I have a hard time communicating what I want, but I know what it is when I see it. Lonnie is patient and takes his haircutting skills onto another level, by slowly asking you what you want and working with you the first couple of times until you get it just like you wanted. Lonnie, Dee, and Anthony and the other dude he always wears a hat, I forgot his name though, brings a chill experience at a neighborhood that is trying to resurrect the community. The place has a pool table and a bunch of Muhammad Ali posters in the bathroom. That place is like a rose blooming in the concrete. Every time I go there, I know I'll have good laughs arguing about football teams, seeing Dee reading his Bobby Brown book, Anthony being Anthony and Lonnie sharing his knowledge as a real estate expert and business entrepreneur.
