I just had to fire Paul after learning he lost me money already in my divorce and was talking to…read morethe other lawyer about things and not telling me. The Divorce was simple and Paul somehow messed it up. He took my retainer money for a upcoming hearing and won't refund it. I called the Bar Association just waiting to hear back. Her lawyer needed a form for insurance to take me off of my exes but Paul ignored her attempts to contact him. I had to Google the legal form myself and send it off to them. I don't know what I paid for. His paralegals do all of his work. Paul will not return phone calls or emails. I don't think he has a computer and I'm not kidding. He did not get her lawyer discovery and then proceeded to bill me anyways. Paul is worth just being a good car salesman to get you in. That's why his ratings on Lawyer.com has him at 2.8 I wish I knew this ahead of time. He owes me $2000 for the appearances he didn't make and not accomplishing anything the previous one. My new lawyer communicates everything and finally the case is moving along. I had other lawyers wouldn't touch my case because they said Paul messed it bad but my new lawyer has been great so far and cleaning things up. My new Lawyer Katlyn Johnson just got me almost triple what Paul couldn't get me. She closed the deal in 2 months and Paul didn't do anything in 5 months. He is a scam artist that talks a big game. Do not fall for his antics. I was on the verge of getting nothing with Paul and she clean it up easily and closed the deal. She is also cheaper than Paul. Update: Paul Refused to give me 1200 back that he owes me for a court appearance he didn't show up to and said I owe him.

Paul ran my credit card before I even had the retainer agreement read or signed (he flipped over the page with his $350/hr rate very quickly) and left me to sign the agreement. He re-entered the room multiple times huffing and acting impatient that it wasn't signed immediately. I felt intimidated, frustrated, and completely taken advantage of. I should've trusted my gut and left instead of allowing him to take a full retainer. I fired Paul after 3 days, which he used $1,200 out of my $1,500 retainer to simply ADJOURN a court date for HIS OWN VACATION. I received a $310 refund for Paul to do absolutely nothing but disrespect and waste my time. He promised me that retainer would get me through "at least 3 months". Im thankful didn't have him represent me in the courtroom. I'll also note that communication is a joke, his "receptionist" just screams your requests across the hall without putting herself on mute while you sit awkwardly listening to them shout at eachother

Had surgery was a passenger in the car and he offered me this lowball settlement and he said that that was the best that he can do. He never called me back. Didn't know what was going on with the case, we did deposit depositions. He was supposed to redo the deposit depositions never did anything he said. not saying that he probably would be a better to someone just speaking from my experience with him. It was horrible and I would not suggest him for anything. Poor communication skills and the biggest liar I ever met. And it's so unsettling to think that this guy is playing and lying in my face and think that I did not see right through him . And even convince me to take the settlement by saying that if it was his own brother, he would say that this was a fair settlement.. after four years with this guy this was the best that he could come up with I accumulated over $100,000 in debt waiting for him to settle this case so thankful that another Attorney and did a wonderful job. Chris Mikienis kept swearing at me (f-word) and walking away yelling at me that I wasn't listening. I was just asking for clarification when he suddenly walked out saying, "I've got more important things to do than listen to you." When I fought back by saying, "You were swearing at me already in there." (meaning the large room I'd waited in), he told me, "Get the hell out of my office."
