But he seemed nice and professional and we're on a budget so we went with them. We have a pretty wooded lot in the Garden District and several very tall trees were right where we needed the fence, including some on the neighbors side. And we had some large trees and specimen trees we did not want removed. I was nervous all day that I was going to come home to a bare yard but they nailed it. They only took out what was needed. The neighbor has his trees and they even zigged zagged the fence around our big trees. The gate from the street side looks beautiful and I can relax and let my children and dog run free. However, it stopped working shortly after installation. I contacted Mr. Gipson again, and he had the gate opener replaced with another one without a cover. The original gate opener had a cover. It was not until 2 weeks ago when I had to try several times to open the gate with my remote that I began having problems. However it eventually opened, and I had no further problems with the gate opening until 2 weeks later when again I could not open the gate for approximately 45 minutes. I then left the gate open in order to get my car in and out. When I called Mr. Gipson on Tuesday, June 16th, he stated he would send his son out to check it. Later that day after I did not hear from his son nor Mr. Gipson, I again called Mr. Gipson to ask if his son had come out. Mr. Gipson stated his son had come out and determined I needed another motor, and he stated his son had gone to Walmart to get one. I never saw or heard from his son. The next day I called Mr. Gipson with no response. However, I left him a message that I had not seen or heard from his son. On Friday, the 19th, I called Mr. Gipson again with no response. Each time I called, I left my name and phone number for Mr. Gipson to return my call with no response. I never saw or heard from the son or Mr. Gipson after that last phone call on June 19th, and my motor has not been changed. Each time I tried contacting Mr. Gipson, I got his voicemail and left him a message advising I had not seen his son, and my gate was still not working. I would not recommend this company to anyone!

My husband met with him and told him we needed it to be started the day we closed on our house. He was 2 weeks late starting. A 50% deposit was given atleast 2 weeks prior to us closing on our house. He seemed very knowledgeable and friendly. On top of our text messages and phone calls. It took him about 3 weeks to do a roughly 2 to 3 day job. Charles also charged us an additional fee because he didnt order enough material. It turned out great until the boards started popping off. He came out once to fix our gate because it broke the first time we tried to open it. Since then, we have made several texts messages and phone calls asking him to come fix the popped off boards. He kept saying he would be here and to this day has not shown up. My husband even called him and Charles said he would be by at 9am Sunday and guess what...he never showed up today. No phone no text message. So here we are with a fence with popped off boards. I DO NOT RECOMMEND HIM WHAT SO EVER!
